We had a wonderful stay at the Pimalai. The airport transfer was seamless and well organized. Upon arrival, we received a welcome drink and were informed that they upgraded us to a beachside villa. The villa was spacious, very clean, and had wonderful indoor/outdoor features! I got a massage at the spa and it was excellent. My only critique would be the food. Breakfast was good, but could be improved by trimming down the offerings and focusing on the freshness of buffet items. Unfortunately, I believe my husband got food poisoning from the smoked salmon (that was the only thing he ate that I did not). The three meals (other than breakfasts) that we ate at the hotel were okay, but did not seem worth the price. We found great food in the nearby village of Kantiang for the rest of the meals during our stay. We would highly recommend going to the local restaurants for lunch and dinner, only a short 10 min walk down the beach.

I’ve traveled all over the world, and this was the best stay I’ve ever had. They don’t let you lift a finger, even if you want to! I’ve never been so pampered in my life. The free transfer from the airport is much nicer than advertised - we had a private car with AC, free water, and their own private speedboat to the island. We didn’t carry a bag from the moment they picked us up until the moment they dropped us back off at the airport. The resort amenities are top notch, and they even upgraded us to a villa with a private pool. I am still in disbelief at how beautiful it was and everything that was included in the space… because it’s on a hill, they have buggies that bring you anywhere you want within the resort. The food and free breakfast were superior, the spa services left us in a stupor, and the convenience was incomparable. They even have their own app for you to access their services at the touch of a button, and they’re immediately responsive for any request you make. I feel spoiled and sad leaving, but will definitely be back. Book this place!

The resort was incredible. The pools are amazing, the staff is highly attentive, and the spa was one of the best we’ve been to. The app made it really convenient to get anything you could need. Would highly recommend and come again!

It’s not often I leave a review but when I receive exceptional service it’s important that it’s noted. From start to finish this hotel was impeccable and by that I mean, four seasons hotel standard - which is my benchmark. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was cleaned and inspected twice a day and the in room dining was sublime. I can be a picky person at times but there simply wasn’t anything that wasn’t perfect about this wonderful establishment and I shall definitely be back. I was a sole traveller but everyone made me feel so welcome. I did leave a tip but please thank all of the staff for being so amazing and I can’t wait to come back one day. If you are looking for a luxury holiday hotel with great service then look no further!

As soon as we stepped off the jetty from our arrival speedboat pick up we knew we were in good hands. The staff were always so friendly and helpful, we were on our honeymoon and they provided us with some many special touches, they went above and beyond and the villa was beautiful. Would highly recommend.

This was our first time ever at this property. My girlfriend and I had the most amazing time at this resort. It felt like an episode of White Lotus, we were treated with 5 star class and service from ever staff and the food was amazing. The price is on the higher side for Thailand but this hotel any where else would be $1,000’s a night. Hotel recommended 10 out of 10 times.

Best property on Lanta. The views from the rooms and the infinity pools are great. Room amenities are top quality — a Bose speaker, delicious tea, great toiletries (shower gel perfect to organise yourself a bubble bath in the gorgeous bathtub. The restaurant food is excellent (though huge). Service seems a little frazzled, but that must be post-COVID adjustments as the resort was feeling pretty busy.
