The hotel design is sleek, minimalist and works superbly with great amenities. Wonderful central location too!
The ice cream at night was a nice touch but something savoury would have been healthier. But it is “free” so some of us just skipped it. No complaints.
While the breakfast was pretty basic, it is probably ok for 2-3 days. However, we stayed 8 nights so it got a bit monotonous.
Service was patchy. Most of the staff were very kind and typical of the wonderful hospitality that we have come to know and expect from the Japanese from many years of visits. However, I had my hand smacked away by a staff member who thought I was using the Nespresso the wrong way. She then walked away after saying I shouldn’t do that. Amazingly rude.
Also, we were not impressed when we were reminded very firmly to return an adapter we borrowed. Of course we would return it??
However, most of the staff were kind and welcoming although a few made us feel otherwise.
Lastly, kudos to the housekeepers who cleaned our rooms. Great job and with lots of smiles, which seems lacking in other staff at times.
Highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Kobe. Location is terrific, less than 10mins walk to Sannomiya Station, tons of restaurant nearby, shopping is just 10mins away.
Facility is clean and new, staff are super friendly and we'll versed in English, communication was great. Checkout thru their kiosk was a breeze.
Was very convenient location, I did not think it was up to Japan standards for cleanliness, stayed at 3 different Royal Park during my travel and the breakfast at this location was way short of the other locations
We loved how close this property was to shopping, dining and cultural parts of Kobe! Getting to the hotel from Sannomiya station was a breeze. Staff was very friendly and accommodating! We hope to stay here again in the future!

Never want to have breakfast at yr hotel again
Room was good but breakfast was ridiculous. Your kitchen delivered six small pieces of kiwi each time, when it was full house, why¿ every dish was in small portion, and there were only two servers, so dishes were always empty and refill was slow. and I felt like I was in some refugee camp with limited food.
The room was well-appointed and quiet but very small. Everything about this hotel was perfectly average which was what was needed for our 1-night stay as we passed through Kobe. There were no excellent interactions with the staff although they were all polite and helpful when we interacted with them. There are no luxurious elements to this hotel but everything you need is there to enjoy your time in Kobe. Well located just one subway stop from the Shinkansen station this would be a good option if your budget won’t stretch to Kyoto or Osaka for your overnight stays.
