peace and tranquility

Second visit to this hotel. Love the place. Beautiful manicured gardens full of exotic flowers. Not too busy even in peak. Staff are wonderfully friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We has the sunset room with jacuzzi, with beautiful view from balcony. Food is also excellent. Not too many kids. If you want peace and quiet this is the place.

Good

Good 3 star, rooms and toilets need upgraded . Would help if some sort of transport to main road as it's a fair walk and no street lighting.

First review written by me but the hotel deserves the effort

I'll try to be factual and help decisions rather than gush but I must say it delivers what was on the tin. It has a beautiful, quiet (but thin and course not powdery white# sandy beach which is totally uncrowned with no hawkers. It’s a safe area for kids with nothing seedy nearby #take the bus to Cheung in the evening if you like night markets or Bar scene#. It’s within 15 minutes of fisherman’s village and 30 to Cheung beach #The really bustling bar area#. A Taxi will cost you BHT300 but the hotel run a free bus 2 to 3 times a day. Cheung is worth a visit for the market but also in the evening the restaurants spread across the beach #nice meals with great views#. Note Cheung seedy bar area is fairly separate so safe for the kids but LOTS of hawkers. It is 10 min walk from the main road with a few restaurants and shops but Hotel will run you up to street and shops for free in a golf cart #Not a gold hotel but they use them to get luggage and you to your room0. Like all these hotels if you wander up or down the beach you find a massage for 300bht (£6/hr# and nice little restaurants, Airport Transfer with hotel #30 mins# is BHT500. Snorkelling is Pants but I believe it is across the island #Several rivers come in close by and flood mud across the bay so no fish and dirty coral with 2M vis#. However there are loads of day trips to the marine park #1hr by boat# which I am told is beautiful. Hotel has sea Kayaks for your free use and has snorkelling gear. There is always a Sun bed to lie on #beach or pool# and never more than 3 or 4 people in the hotels pool #I guess because 50% of the villas have their own private pool#. Pool is large and freeform with a basket ball hoop and a swim up bar. A few tiles are loose but it is clean and the staff are meticulous at keeping it clean. Pool bar food and drinks are Hotel prices but very nice. Happy hour #12:00 to 13:00#. Note: no kids clubs so its exploring, TV, Computers or swimming Hotel is set in beautiful mannequin gardens #Hotel has a great “organic” garden# and the villas are beautifully clean with a large amount of space and amenities #Balcony, Air Cond, Room service, free Disney channel, mini bar, complimentary water etc.#. The rooms have a Thai feel and are lovely. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast was OK to good BUT I am extremely discerning about breakfast; The good was the egg station and variety. The bad was the over sweet orange mix #not fresh# and the quality of the cold meat and cheese. It’s typically Asian and poor copies of European equivalent However I must say overall the food at the hotel was VERY good #had room service twice# and lots of pool lunches #especially the Club sandwich, Chicken strips or local Thai meals) Overall for the money this has to be a fantastic choice, I spend a long time choosing and was VERY pleased, "Definitely recommended"

Luxurious accomodation in an idilic spot!

This hotel was the perfect luxury end to our time in Thailand. The room was immaculate and the setting was beautiful. The staff were very helpful but their English wasn't always very good so it was sometimes hard work. The spa was great, the staff there were very friendly and the service was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend!

C’est un bel hôtel au calme. Le personnel est tellement gentil. Une attention particulière pour Mr Rock de la piscine, il est extrêmement attentionné et tellement gentil. Merci à lui.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, leider keinen Sandstrand vorhanden direkt vor dem Hotel. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut und schön. Der Pool dürften ein bisschen besser gereinigt werden. Wir hatten ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Whirlpool, dieser funktionierte leider nicht.

Traumhafte und liebevoll gestaltete Hotelanlage. Der Strand lädt zum flanieren ein. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier am richtigen Ort. Wenns dann doch mal „mehr“ sein darf, erreicht man Fishermanns Village und Chaweng in wenigen Minuten mit dem Taxi.

Hôtel au calme d'une forêt tropicale

Chambre propre à notre arrivée, mais le service de chambre nous a hélas fortement déçu. Douche, baignoire et toilette lavés 1x sur 4, il faut téléphoner pour avoir du papier de toilette, le nombre de linge correspondait jamais au nombre des membres de la famille. La situation, loin de la foule, nous a conquis, la piscine également, malgré que l'entretien laisse à désirer... La plage est inexistante devant l'hôtel, mais belle sur le côté. Bien que, une fois les pieds dans l'eau, attention cailloux !
