Rooms very basic, and in need of updating and TLC. Bathrooms especially need some attention. Balconys -good space, but could use some care. Adding plants to make it more attractive. Only some staff spoke English. Made check-in hard. Breakfast was excellent, great choice. Bike hire available for good rate for day use. Restaurant is next door. No bar or lobby area

This is a super-clean, friendly, comfortable, recently renovated hotel, with easy access to Constance. The breakfast normally costs 7.5 euro extra and is superb. We would have awarded top marks, except that the power to our room cut out early on the morning of our departure. The helpful and pleasant staff scrambled to solve the issue but the fact that it was a Sunday didn't help. They gave us another room to use for showers, and gave us our breakfasts for free. This was a very good and professional response on their part. Our only lasting issue was that the electrical malfunction in the room cost us a blown cellphone charger...and these are hard to find in small-town Germany on a Sunday.

Good, quiet location and conveniently located. The hotel has a genuine rustic atmosphere. The interior of my room needs updating, all shows signs of years of use. My stay was very pleasant.

Beautiful area near Lake Constance. Nice launching point to visit Austria, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, and Germany. Quaint country charm to be found everywhere. Very friendly and informative staff.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno di tre notti in questa struttura a conduzione familiare situata nella verde e bella campagna a 10 km circa da Costanza; personale molto gentile ed accogliente, camera molto bella e spaziosa impeccabilmente pulita così come tutti gli ambienti dell’hotel; colazione buona con prodotti freschi e sufficientemente varia; parcheggio gratuito sia in uno spazio presso l’hotel che poco lontano; la zona è un vero paradiso per cicloturisti anche se noi abbiamo preferito spostarci per le nostre visite intorno al lago con l’auto, alla reception abbiamo comunque ricevuto una card per usufruire gratuitamente di corse in autobus o in treno nella zona, le fermate del bus sono vicine all’hotel…che dire, siamo stati benone!

Nice big room, good bedding, unfortunately towels old, frayed and not changed. Bathroom Average. Hot, no Aircon and if you open the window, we had the road, it was very noisy traffic even at 1-2am in the morning and the buses start early too! And someone from the restaurant downstairs was smoking in front of the hotel. TV controls don't work and only 2 channels !

Very nice accommodation, friendly people, excellent breakfast, parking on premises. Rooms on the street side are a bit loud. If you plan to eat in this village, there are only 3 restaurants. Overall very good for us :-)
