Lovely elegant hotel, clean and comfortable

Pros: The elegance, cleanliness and comfort of the building itself, and the friendliness of all the staff, so willing to help.
Cons: Only a small issue, but . .maybe the decor could do with a little updating? My bed had an old-fashioned, heavy, fitted bed cover - although very clean
Location: A quiet location, but within 15 minutes easy walk into the beautiful City Square, where there are churches, shops, restaurants, bars
Wawel Hotel is a classy, elegant building with an interesting past. It's in a quiet, picturesque street, yet less than 15 minutes walk from all Krakow's central attractions. My room was well furnished, very clean and with high quality linen. The hotel has a lovely orangery, with a free hot drinks machine and a computer with printer ( for printing out boarding passes). The reception staff are very smart, pleasant, keen to help and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast room offered an excellent choice of fresh, nicely cooked food, yogurt, breads, fresh fruit, good coffee, etc and the waiting staff were friendly and made me feel very welcome. The breakfast room is in fact in the adjoining restaurant, The Black Duck, where I also ate on a couple of nights, as it was a great opportunity to sample a range of traditional Polish cuisine - since I'm vegetarian, the staff helped me choose which dishes would be suitable. There is a very peaceful and pretty courtyard with a fountain at the back of the hotel. I would recommend this lovely, elegant hotel to anyone, the staff made my stay very enjoyable.

Hotel was on a quiet street. All facilities were super clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was different and excellent, very delicious.

L'Hôtel Wawel est merveilleusement centré pour visiter Cracovie. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est splendide.

varsinkin aamiainen=breakfast oli upea ! monipuolinen,raikas, mistään muusta ei voi "moittia" kuin allergisena henkilönä käytävällä ja huoneessa,etenkin WC +suihkutilassa ensimmäisenä päivänä parfyymin tuoksu aiheutti harmia minulle, asiasta ilmoitettuani huoneilma ei siivouksen jälkeen muina päivinä tuoksunut

Huone oli siisti ja tilava. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja saatiin huone jopa ennen ilmoitettua luovutusaikaa. Tarjolla oli automaatti josta sai käydä hakemassa erikoiskahveja ja kuumaa vettä, tämä korvasi sen ettei huoneessa ollut vedenkeitintä. Hotelli sijaitsi todella hyvällä paikalla ja kaikki nähtävyydet olivat kävelymatkan päässä.
