The hotel is very close to the train station, bus lines, and street cars. Staff was helpful and stored our luggage before we were able to check in. Breakfast buffet was included, although not recommended.

Kumamoto Stay.
Very nice hotel good price. Close to the train station and shopping. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had many choices and was delicious. There is a public bath on site also.

Great hotel close to the train and tram stations
Great hotel, staff was very friendly and helped with storing my luggage before I could check in at 3PM. The hotel is very close to the train station, tram station, and bus stop that goes to KMJ airport. The breakfast included many food options including lots of truly Japanese style foods. Only thing to note is that since the hotel is close to the station it is a bit of distance from the city center, but the tram can get you to downtown for only ¥170.

The hotel is equipped with a spa type bath, so I could choose to use the spa facilities instead of shower in the hotel room. The hotel is located very close to the train station so just 5 min walk there.

Front Desk was very friendly. Room was clean. The Japanese baths were very relaxing. The breakfast had both Japanese dishes and Western dishes. Plus very close to the station which made it very convenient.
