We visited the historical center of Kurashiki and were extremely impressed with what we saw and learned-5 gold stars for that! We booked this hotel because of our familiarity with Royal Park Hotels in other cities in Japan but didn’t realize this is basically a business hotel. The Japanese breakfast we had was great but if you prefer western food, this is not for you

The location is only few minutes walk from the Kurashiki station. There are many free services like a local wine tasting and drink free lounge. Big bath weren’t crowded at all and could relaxed well after the exploring the historical district.

Clean an locations is good.
The hotel has 120 rooms but the restaurant only can seat around 40 persons. We want to have breakfast but they said fully book. No parking space need to park outside. But in the hotel.com introduction of the hotel said it has limited parking. The receptionist spent 30 mins to find me the correct booking , I think they should prepare all key and room before guest arrive. we booked 3 rooms. The spa is hot water not hot spring, and too small too many people. the lounge offer free coffee, tea, till 11:00pm in the 13 F next to the spa.
