The hotel is very clean! The staff is the friendliest staff ever. They are very well informed about places to eat, excursions, and pharmacies when we were feeling sick. It’s the cold season and the air conditioning is managed as from management. It made the rooms hot to sleep in. Otherwise it was great. I’ll go back again for sure.

Convenient location
Great hotel easy walk from Kyoto station so it's convenient for the train subway and bus. Clean ,has a fridge and a window that can open a bit for fresh cool air.will stay here again

This hotel was great as it was a few blocks from Kyoto station, however bathroom in our room was very little, I am 1.84 Mts and barely fit in the tiny space, consider this if you are taller. APA is a great hotel chain I recommend to first time Japan travelers as it is easy to find an affordable one in every city.

The room was small but I believe it is standard as per Japanese standards. Very nice staff, clean room and access to spa (6am-12 noon and 3pm till 1 am ). Very centrally located. About 7 mins walk to Kyoto station and I would recommend this place to stay. The only thing I would point out is that there were no wardrobes in the room and was tight with our big suitcases.
