Far far away from eateries and plcs of interest.. quite a walk from station.. and remote.. Staff does not try to understand the customer.. hotel send email to check in .. but in the end got to rewrite everything again at the front desk.. told him already E check in but insisted us to write again .. double work.. The staff that attended to us is like a robot repeat the same answer over and over, we got to struggle to understand his english.. he could had pointed the answer to us that was on the slip of paper. Machine payment is either card or cash, cant do partial.. Definately not a premium hotel haha

Staffs are very helpful. We checked in on a rainy day and thankfully they provide umbrella free. Google map always points to the nearest kujo station which is a ten minutes walk but it’s actually a couple minutes more to walk to main Kyoto station with more lines. The public hot bath is also a plus. Overall, very nice choice

This hotel has soft beds and pillows. Very clean and spacious rooms. Close to kyoto station (12 minutes walk) and 3 minutes walk to the bus stop. I payed from breakfast which was a very good decision since they have many food options to choose from.

This place has a great location, fairly close to train station, malls, shopping, and dining. Immediately upon approaching the front desk to check in (a little early at 1330), we were told very abruptly that check in was at 1500 and early check in was not an option. We were allowed to leave our bags though so we went to get something to eat and kill time. When we finall checked in, we tried to call another room which our friends were staying in and noticed there was no phone in the room. When inquiring about this, we were told straight up that they removed the phones so they wouldn't have to answer calls from quests and thus, decreased the front-end staff to decrease costs. The stay was comfortable and the room was spacious, but it was nothing special. I have tattoos so was unable to use the onsen as I couldn't cover them all. We did not eat breakfast because it seemed over-priced for what it was and was able to find better options close bye.

Budget friendly hotel with great services. Staff were friendly. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Building looks new. 10 minutes walk to Kyoto station in a quiet neighborhood. Room is big enough for 4 people with 1 bed each. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom has separate door for toilet and shower. The bath house is nice and can just use to take a shower if you don’t want sit in the bath with other people. Breakfast is available on the main for 1,800 yen. Lawson is next door for quick food, snacks, and drinks. Kyoto station has lots of food options and shopping. We used the luggage forwarding services to Osaka which is convenient for traveling. It was a great experience over all.
