Staff are excellent, room was bigger than expected with very convenient amenities. Storage lockers in the lobby were very nice. Location is good, not too far from Kyoto station and well connected to the rest of the city by public transit. Clean, safe area.

Not a lot of food options immediately around the hotel, though 5-10mins walk you will find a lot more. It's a very convenient location in terms of transit if one looking for a more reasonable price range

One of our favourite hotels we stayed at. The free drinks and snacks for overnight guests were a plus. I also loved being able to lock our luggages and things in the storage area when we checked out. It made things so much easier for us and was a smooth process retrieving our items. The staff were so nice and welcoming despite the language barrier :)

From all of the hotels that we stayed in for our honeymoon, this was the best one. It was very spacious compared to most hotels. It was near a very huge mall that you can go shopping, eat and get dessert at underneath the subway so you were able to get to that yet it was so quiet and clean. We were really impressed by the friendliness of the staff and as well as the free desserts Coffees, the teas and snacks! I really appreciate it how it was definitely the most relaxing part of our trip to be in Kyoto. I felt like it definitely fit the vibe. The only issue is that when walking by the rooms you can kind of hear what people are saying so just FYI, but other than that, you cannot hear anybody in your room just when you walk by there door, but it was definitely worth it. It’s one of the hotels and it’s very lovely.

The hotel had amenities you wouldn’t have thought you needed: lending library, free evening beverage and snack area, laundry, Japanese PJs, razors, combs, toothbrush,.. it made it feel homey, modern and inviting. The hotel is in walking distance to Toji temple and Toji station, but about a 20 min walk from Kyoto station.

We stayed here only one night but it was clean and a larger room than expected. Staff were friendly and they had a large coffee area with a variety of free drinks for us to wait until our check in time. They also offered an early check in for an added fee but the coffee area was very comfortable. This hotel was about 20 minutes by train to Fushimi Inari and an 8 minute walk to Tōji Temple.

We liked staying at the hotel. It was close to the Kyoto station. The area was quiet so not too many tourist. The toji temple is walkable and the mall is close too.The laundry machines were very bad for drying clothes. We dried them multiple times but they were never dry. Would not recommend for large loads of laundry

The hotel is literally just across the Toji station, so a solo traveller with luggage’s can manage to get there just by train, very convenient. Quiet neighbourhood and Toji is just a short walk away. Staff were polite, and were able to help me in time. The property is very new, so the room was very clean. It was a nice relaxing experience (and the room was larger than what I expected). It was also nice that they had an open dining area for people to warm up food/make tea and eat, so that rooms stay clean. This area is also used for the morning buffet, which has an interesting mix of dishes but nonetheless tasty. All in all, this was above my expectations.
