The room was only large enough to fit a bed. For the price, there are much better options around. Also, they store checked luggage literally by the front door with no security or effort for safe keeping. Except for the above, I have no other concerns.

The bed and bathroom were clean when we arrived but the rest of the room, especially the blinds, was very dusty. The rooms themselves were quite small, so even 2 people may struggle. It included a kettle but no tea or coffee in the room, and none obviously with the other amenities in the lobby. One of the lifts always smelled of cigarettes. The location of this hotel is its best selling point, being within 15-20 mins of Nishiki market and the Gion district. However for what we paid vs what we received, I would not stay here again

The room had three beds in the photo when I booked but reality is that’s all about it. There’s no room to completely open the luggage without putting the luggage on the bed. The under the bed storage did not work for us. There is no where to sit except on the bed. For a family of 3 or more, look elsewhere.

The hotel was clean, accommodating, and located conveniently. Everything was excellent except the room size. We knew it would be small but it was still slightly smaller than expected. Overall, an excellent stay. Breakfast price increased from 800 yen to 1200 yen from April 2024. We stayed 2 nights and puchased the breakfast for both days. It enjoyed the breakfast. The evening reception did not have any alcohol was previously advertised. All it had was coffee, tea, orange juice and apple juice.
