Fabulous Hotel in the heart of Kyoto
We loved everything about Hotel Gran MS Kyoto, the staff were so very friendly and could not have been more helpful, they went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. The location was perfect for seeing the sights and our room was very clean and comfortable

Cleanliness: 5/5 - All that I can ask for are clean linens and towels. Service: 4/5 - Hospitable staff. Comfort: 4/5 - The room was pretty spacious. While it was comfy the only issue is that in lieu of black out curtains there was a sliding panel that only covered part of the window. Noise: 5/5 - The hotel room was nice and quiet for us!

My stay here started on a weird note as unbeknownst to me, there was a small leak in the ceiling of my room that dripped into my shoes all night on the first day. Once I informed the staff of the leak, they offered to move me to a different room and bonus for me it was significantly bigger. The staff here are friendly, approachable, and attentive. The hotel is is a very convenient place with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Overall I was happy to stay here.

It was fine. Price Ok - Convenient area.
Older hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. I didn’t really get a great vibe walking into the hotel. It wasn’t bad, but it’s a depressing empty lobby area. Kids behind the counter didn’t really seem to be thrilled. Beds are fine, and comfortable. The staff wasn’t overly friendly or attentive. Convenient location.
