Hotel was very convenient to the train and bus stations. A lot of shopping and various dining options in walking distance. Staff was courteous and helpful; spoke rudimentary English. Quiet and clean during 5 night stay.

Its definitely worth single penny, so convineint from narita airport, having huge luggages, its became easy bec from rapid train down to kyoto station we dont even need to go out bec its directly on the station will definitely be back and book again here

My family recently stayed at Hotel Granvia Kyoto and we loved our time there! The hotel is connected to Kyoto Station which makes it convenient to get to, to visit all the tourist sites, and to get to your next city. There are shopping malls connected to the station along with restaurants and food courts. We were with extended families so all the food choices were helpful. In fact, we probably ate most of our meals there. There are also a few konbini on site. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean and comforting after long days of sightseeing. The staff at the Granvia are exceptional. I highly recommend the Granvia Hotel to all visitors of Kyoto.

Accidentally booked a smoking room, which we didn’t realise was a thing. Being 6 months pregnant, we asked staff the next day if we could change rooms and pay the difference. They advised there was no availability, even though we had checked online and there was. We had to leave early and pay for another hotel. Altogether there isn’t really much going on in that location, seems far away from the main areas and restaurants.
