My fiancé stayed in Tokyo and Kyoto for our honeymoon, and we loved this hotel! Hotel Kanra Kyoto was absolutely gorgeous, in a convenient location (right off of the Karasuma subway line), and they had the friendliest staff. Their customer service was top-tier in every way; they even offer free drinks in the lobby between 1-7 PM! If you stay here, you MUST get a room with a cypress deep-soaking bathtub. It is totally worth it!

Loved staying at this property. It was spacious, clean, and very high end. The rooms were beautiful and very aesthetically pleasing. Convenient location from Kyoto station and minutes away from Gojo station. I don’t think I can stay anywhere else in Kyoto in the future.

Kanra Hotel is just exceptional.Hotel room is beautiful and big for Japanese standards.The Spa was great. The staff was amazing.Ten minutes walk from Kyoto station. Next to one of the most important Temple in Kyoto. I really recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kanra. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, greeted us warmly and kindly helped us with directions to places we wanted to visit. The room was spacious and immaculately clean with a lovely cypress bath tub. The location was easy to find and very convenient with the subway station moments away. We loved it!
