Would recommend. Only thing was that the breakfast variety was good but there wasn't a lot of variety compared to other hotels we've stayed in. But still a very good selection! Bedroom was lovely and staff super friendly.

Right at the city center full of shopping and restaurants. A lot of eating options good or bad. All attractions are reachable via city buses. Facilities are out dated but well maintained. Stayed 5 nights without complaints.

Located in the middle of Shicho Gion, easily reached by bus from Kyoto station and within walkable distance to major Kyoto sites such as Yasaka Shrine and Sannezeka. Staff are all friendly and eager to help.

This hotel is in the middle of one of the busiest streets in kyoto so it’s not exactly the quietest place.. but overall the rooms were spacious and beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. There was lots of restaurants, karaoke, and endless shopping all around so that was very enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back whenever i return to kyoto :)

EXCELLENT location & price/value! Wonderful daily cleaning service unless you leave magnet for them to skip your room Staff very helpful - call taxi company to retrieve a wallet left in the cab. With their help, the wallet was returned within 1.5 hours! For the fussy, there were several stains on the floor. For me, only negative was poor light fixture placement, so difficult to read in bed.

I will recommend this place to anyone who wanted to stay in Kyoto. It is very close to everything just walking distance. Also this place is very clean and staff are very helpful. The rooms are roomier than the one we stayed at in Tokyo. The only problem I had was that it was a bit noisy.
