I had been to kyoto many times but this is the first time to stay in this hotel. The location is excellent, right across from the Kyoto train/bus stations. There is an underground entrance to dining, shopping and train station. However, the hotel rooms are a kind of small and old, no USB outlets. Our room was facing east and the morning sun made the room extremely hot and stuffy. The air conditioner didn’t seem to work. I was told by the front desk that the heater had been turned on in November. The window was locked and unable to open. It was uncomfortable to sleep in the heat. We asked for a fan. The staff were helpful and courteous.

I had been to Kyoto many times but this was the first time staying in this hotel. The location is excellent, which is right across from the train and bus stations. Amazing location. The station is right across the street. The rooms are so clean and spacious. They provide complimentary items when you arrive too like tea, a comb, shaver, toothbrush, etc.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was quite spacious compared to Japanese standards. Extra toiletries and coffee/tea was always available in the lobby. The location is great with the train station right across the hotel.

Room was bigger than the standard size in Japan and breakfast was excellent. Staff was very kind and it is situated in front of Kyoto station which allowed us to visit many places. I do highly recommend it

A nice hotel. Rooms good, staff lovely and great location. The only negative was that at breakfast sometimes the ‘hot food’ was only warm/ cold.
