Great location for those getting bullet train
We only stayed one night extremely basic room and small, but location is amazing as we were getting the bullet train to Tokyo next day. It’s right in the station were you get the bullet train.

Since the hotel was connected to Kyoto station, it was easy to access food and shopping if we didn’t want to go outside. Buses and trains we needed to take also stopped there. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly.

Our stays are in the larger rooms which are at a higher rate because we will expend funds for the larger and more spacious rooms. Also our daily rates are based on bookings eight months earlier. Therefore, the rate for the room is less than booking one month prior to one’s stay.

For a central location, in the heart of Kyoto, you'd be hard pressed to find better. Situated in the railway station itself, it offers everything you need for a convenient stop off point during transit, to a long weekend and beyond. The staff and facilities are excellent and, although my room wasn't that big, it had everything I needed. The free lounge voucher is a fantastic service, especially if you have a late onward journey on the day of departure. Breakfast offers a reasonable selection of food an drink. The location is stand out, being in the heard of the station, with all the amenities it has to offer. Fantastic!

Bed and pillows very hard. Good staff. Very clean. Breakfast buffet was good, albeit a bit unusual by Western standards and could have used a little more rotational variety. No safe in room. Great hot water. Great location in station with plenty of food and shopping available but without the noise. Would stay here again.
