Very cool

We stayed here for one night only but it left a great impression on us, especially on my partner who was really excited about the fact that the dining area of the lobby had a coffee bar were you could ground your own choice of coffee and then choose the brewing method (v60, chemex, french press...) it was heaven on Earth for a coffee snob like my partner. Anyway, we got a private double bed room, which was tiny but overall great for one night, clean, tidy and nice looking, with a sink, towels, slippers, outfits to walk around the hostel on, A. C., and tv. There were restrooms on every floor which were very nice and clean. The bathroom area was on the ground floor and it was very nicely decorated and clean, again everything was nice and clean, the showers and sinks, everything; you felt like you were in your own bathroom, until someone else walked in... but you get what I'm saying, it was very comfortable. The lobby area doubled as the dining/ lounging area and it had a very cool, hipster-y decor, perfect for young couples or solo travelers like us. Breakfast wasn't included but its price was very affordable and worth your buck, you could choose from 3 menu options that included an unlimited drink bar, that's were the coffee comes along. All in all a great place to stay for a great price; very close to Kyoto Station and several bus stops and metro stations that take you to all the touristy spots.

Nice hotel with very good/friendly staff. Close enough to station. Perfect for exploring local area. Went to fab restaurant round the corner

Erittäin siisti ja omaan silmään tyylikäs paikka rauhallisella alueella. Hyvä sijainti: metroasema heti vieressä, Kioton päärautatieasema myös kävelyetäisyydellä. Kahden hengen huone oli yllättävän tilava, tv ja käsienpesuallas plussaa. Kylpyläosasto oli hieno ja kokemus oli miellyttävä, tarjolla oli myös siistit tavalliset suihkut sekä laajasti siistiytymistarvikkeita (saippuoita, shampoita, hiustenkuivaajat jne). Miinusta pyykkituvasta: pesukoneet eivät ilmeisesti Japanissa yleensäkään linkoa ja pyykit pestään kylmässä vedessä, mikä on jo sinänsä hämmentävää mutta hyväksyttävää. Kuivausrummut olivat sen sijaan hävyttömän huonot: pyykki lämpesi muttei kuivunut lainkaan. Jouduimme viemään 2,5 tuntia kuivausrummussa vedessä lilluneet, valuvan märät ja jo vähän ummehtuneet vaatteet huoneeseen kuivumaan. Niiden kuivattaminen huoneessa oli todella hankalaa, koska ripustuspaikkoja ei ollut ja koko huone oli tunkkainen ja kostea. Vaatteisiin jäi lopultakin epämiellyttävä ummehtunut haju.

Lähellä JR-asemaa ja metroa.

Paras hinta-laatu Japanin matkallamme. Huoneet on pieniä, mutta pariskunnalle riittävät. Alakerran aularavintolassa voi syödä omia eväitä. Kahvit ja teen (hienoja laatuja) voi itse keitellä pavuista kahvimyllyllä aloittaen. Mukava kylpyosasto, jossa ei ollut ruuhkaa, kun vältti ruuhkatunnit. Aamiainen myös hyvä ajatellen hintaa. Pieni ulkoterassi, jossa voi lueskella vaikka kirjaa. Pyykitkin sai pestä ilmaiseksi ja pesuaine oli talon tarjoama. Täydellinen hotelli budjettimatkaaja pariskunnalle.

L'accueil était bien et le cadre de l'hôtel est très bien. Le thé et café à disposition sont très appréciés. L'espace spa et douche était très propre.
