You have the luxury of the Carvi Beach Hotel which is wonderful but the surroundings are breath taking. This is a photographers dream. You will not be disappointed!

The property itself was great. Clean, Nice staff, Restaurant, Pool area. The only problem at this time is that the construction on the beach and boardwalk area kept us from walking to town that way but you can take a beautiful walk the other way. There are different places to walk down steep steps to cool small beaches. We had a wonderful time.

The location is good, near the sightseeing spots. The hotel restaurant is very nice, good views. Dinner price is reasonable, food is delicious. And the breakfast is also very good.

Location to beach was great. However, during our stay the beach access was unavailable due to construction. We were able to walk a distance to gain access from a property nearby. Easy walk to town and the restaurants and shopping.

It was a great place. Too bad the Beach access was under construction. Breakfast was awesome. The only complaint was the noise on the forth floor when the restaurant moves all the bottles (garbage)around 10:00 pm This is a place I would go back to again.

The hotel is clean, daily maid service, right next the boardwalk and free parking. The restaurant has a great view of the sea. The area doesn't look that great when entering due to an abandon apartment but it's a great location to explore the grottos with an amazing sunset and sunrise. Don't bother to upgrade with a view, can't really see it.

Pretty good for a basic hotel. Staff is helpful. You only get one bottle of drinking water per stay. No in-room coffee maker or microwave. Ambient lighting could be improved. Rooftop pool is lovely but over chlorinated. Breakfast offerings are plentiful. Right next to picture-perfect Algarve beach. Deposit required for beach towels. Good spot and a nice walk to the old town and extensive boardwalk.

Great Location for Beaches
This was a great hotel for the beaches in this area and for walking along the boardwalk. Price was reasonable for the Faro area. We did not get great beach weather so that was not so good. It was a bit of a walk to get to the old city and the Marina, so we mostly took Ubers. There is not a lot around the hotel and several restaurants close by were closed or not open all the time. The rooms were nice and big enough. We had a great view of the ocean and beach area. The bed was very comfortable and the heating/cooling system worked great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Room service was very good. The breakfast was good and the main restaurant was very good as we had supper there twice. We did not use the pool or rooftop restaurant as the weather was not warm enough.

The area surrounding the hotel is great and beautiful. One of our room had issues with the key pad, and they were not able to resolve the issue and did not compensate us for the inconvenience. We were there for two nights. They did not offer us a room change until the day we were leaving.
