Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities
Like others have said, this is a subpar property in an expensive area, so if you are staying here, it's because it is cheap and you are getting what you paid for. I have stayed here twice now because I visit family and really am only at the hotel to sleep. But after this trip, I think I will be willing to pay more for a better experience.
We had paid extra to reserve a king room, but got a double bed (which they advertise is a queen but I measured it and it was 54 inches wide). The mattress was comfortable and linens clean - our towels seemed brand new. The furniture in the room was nice. The fridge and coffee machine (which takes Keurig pods) in the room were great. They now have a coffee station in the lobby which is also nice. The area is great - walking distance to the beach and some cute shops and restaurants.
For the bad - the room had a very musty smell and feel. There were small ant-like bugs on the bathroom counter and bedside tables. It seemed like a shoddy remodel job was done on the property, with uneven baseboards and paint splotches. Each room has an individual AC unit which was loud - we were there in November and had the AC on the whole time because of the musty/damp feel in the room.
Parking is easy, and it's an extra $20/day that you pay on the app, but it doesn't seem like they monitor to make sure people pay. I wish there was EV charging available because this area does not have many accessible chargers.
