Eastwood is a 5 bedroom mountaintop cabin with a large game room with 8' pool table. It is located in Lake Harmony Estates on the crest of the mountain. It is a favorite vacation destination for our family owing to it's true 4 season vacation qualities.
The house prominently features a large deck covered with a good amount of natural shade from the house making it my favorite place to eat breakfast and watch the various wildlife go about their day. We keep a BBQ grill with a stainless steel prep table on the deck along with a fire table. Propane for the BBQ and the fire table is provided. There is a stone fire pit in the back yard. The house is also part of Lake Harmony Estates so our family and our guests are entitled to use our 12 passes to the beach, the picnic area and the parking facilities lakeside at the base of Wood Street and the tennis court. The beach is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Eastwood is in walking distance (300 yards) of the beach facility and tennis court (200 yards).
Key among the features of the house is our livingroom fireplace, backyard fire pit and our deck fire table. Whether you like to relax on the couch in front of a cozy fire, huddle around a fire pit making Smores or relax on the deck around the fire table with cocktails. We have all scenarios covered. My favorite is the Smores as I am kid at heart. The house is located in Lake Harmony Estates. Rental includes 10 beach passes. The lake is great for canoes, kayaks and tubes and there are 2 businesses where you can rent boats and other water sports gear.
In the gameroom we have a 65" smart TV with a subscription to YouTube TV. You Tube TV is a terrific internet streaming service that provides local channels, cable channels, free streaming channels and paid streaming channels. We have an 8' Ohlhausen pool table with all the accessories and a combination poker/game/puzzle table with 8 chairs. One of my favorite possessions in the basement is a live edge bar and table made by my son-in-law Stephen. It is natural wood with beautiful red, yellow and brown veins running through it. It is made out of "flaming box elder" that is a tree species native to the Poconos.
