The staff was friendly but I have a couple of complaints our room had no phone not sure if that's an every room thing but I was surprised because I wanted to call and let them know that my tv did not work. It was a smart tv but wasn't able to stream anything, also we got a handicap bedroom not sure why because we did not ask for it. Can't complain much for the price we paid

More lodge vibes here! It’s so convenient to the South Lake gondola village restaurants and shops I loved the little lounge with a coffee/wine bar. The rooms were spacious and the heated toilet seat really stood out. They are putting in the effort to make guests comfy!

The coachman hotel is comprised of three older hotels under one renovated name. It feels like a classy motel with resort fees. While we really enjoyed the hot tub and general ambiance of the property, we found a few things that could use improvement. The bathroom in our room was so small that you had to straddle the toilet seat in order to close the door. The lack of a welcome mat or rug meant any tracked in snow left puddles that made the room feel dirtier than it was. The free s'more's at the communal fire pit is a great idea, but the graham crackers included were stale and a bit disappointing. When we asked for our Expedia VIP perk (free champagne and 1 free drink per person), we were told we could only choose one of the two. Luckily, we had a room attached to the main building, but if you are unlucky enough, your room could be across the street from the pool area, making any trip a lot more inconvenient. For Tahoe, the Coachman is better than cheaper alternatives in the area. Many of our complaints are negligible, but given the total cost we would like to see some improvements.

Awesome vibe here. The staff is friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Food is great. Good beverage selection at the bar. Awesome little merch shop. Room design is awesome, the esthetic here was well thought out and it shows. Will absolutely be back!

Close to Lake Tahoe blvd
Hotel was walking distance to lake tahoe blvd. The hot tub, smores kit, pet friendly, complimentary sparkling wine, heated toilet seats, and free parking were pros. Lack if stairs (our room was on the 3rd floor), lack of parking spaces (had to park across the street at lobby area), limited lobby hours (7am-10pm), uncomfortable beds and pillows, lack of microwave in standard rooms (hotel unable to fulfill microwave request), and resort fee were cons. I may consider staying here again for a short trip but will look else where if planning to stay more than 3 days.
