Ok stay. Overall the cleanliness wasn’t the best as there was mold on the walls as well as a strong mold smell; half of the blinds were missing, we saw a few “bugs” and ants, there was broken appliances such as the headboard and the handles for the faucets, there was also an old froot loop stuck to the wall, the ac unit Is burned out and old, It looks like people live there, etc. I could go on. Overall, the staff were very nice and the area around the hotel Is nice as there are a lot of places to dine and shop that are walking distance as well as a gas station and It’s quite and safe.

False advertisement! It was the opposite of everything that they had us to believe.……… The lobby was under construction, the workers equipment was scattered in the middle of the walkway, no free breakfast, other guest tracked water from the pool throughout the hotel which almost caused me and my sister to fall, kids ran up and down the hallway all night until around 3’O Clock in the morning, guest in adjoining room fought all night, hotel employees were hanging out in front of the hotel near the front entrance using profanity, causing a disturbance, smoking (non-smoking hotel), the lamp and tv were on the floor and not on a desk or nightstand. I was told by staff that some of the rooms don’t come with those items, no tv remote, half cleaned room, roaches and rude staff.…. This hotel doesn’t deserve a 1-star. If there was such thing as a 0-star. That is what I would rate this hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone!

New ownership and remodeling!!
Hurricane stay hotel under remodel paint fumes on all floors. Would have thought they would remodel a floor at a time. Overall very nice staff and basically comfortable. New ownership hotel changing of name forthcoming. Pet friendly is a very great asset!!

Needed a room for the upcoming hurricane. It was last minute. They say they were under construction but it was awful. The halls smelled of marajuana. The room had gnats flying. We found someone’s dread from their hair or weave which was huge on the floor. Had to pay 100 dollar deposit for incidentals which was refundable but come on…The floor downstairs was flooded and they had old wet towels and mops. You had to walk through the water. This was before the storm even came.

Absolutely the worst hotel I've ever seen. Room had alot of water on the floor and mold in bathroom. Blood and bed bugs all over the mattress. The fridge had horrible smell and looked as someone beat it with a sledgehammer then spray painted to cover damage. This place should be condemned and shut down.

Worst stay ever
The hotel was filled with looters at night near the entrance and the back entrance even using drugs. Everywhere it was very filthy and breaking apart, tiles missing from the floors in the hall, the elevator was filthy, there were a/c’s piled by what should be the dining area, stains all over the walls and floor and the bed and room smelled like mold, let’s not start with the smell of weed and some other strong smell when you’re walking down the hall to find your room. There was a broken smoke alarm and it was hanging having the electrical cords exposed, the tv counter had a giant chunk missing, the desk was dirty with something sticky on it, bed sheets were dirty, shower curtain was with blood and other stains, I feared my safety there because there was a couple fighting and the man was beating the woman and when I told front desk she states “ oh my god, he’s doing it again” there was hardly anything offered for breakfast I was able to eat an apple and some coffee. The ratings for this hotel on Hotels.com do t match it for anything it’s not “ GOOD” at all it’s bad.. very bad

1. At check in key given to an occupied room (room 308) 2. Room 325- No COLD water, got burned with steaming hot water 3. Had to take sponge baths for 2 days 4. No curtain on window- light beaming in 5.Shower curtain rod falling off 6. NO sign on hotel stating its being renovated 7. Entire hotel dusty and stuffy 8. When advising front desk for assistance with all issues, all i was told is that they are renovating and something is wrong with pluming and that unfortunately there was nothing they could do and no room to switch me too since hotel was completely booked. I would like a full refund as I was in a church convention and this was a horrific experience.

It was really dirty. Smoke detector was disconnected and laying on the counter couldn't take a shower because there was so much lime buildup on the shower head it was barely trickling. Floors were torn up they said they were under construction it smelled of mildew there were Rusty Parts everywhere in the bathroom the only reason why I didn't go somewhere else as I did not have the financial means to get another room.And I still have not received the $100 deposit back
