Great location and clean. Unfortunately soundproofing does not good. Woke up by upstairs customers (around 2 a.m. ) while they back to their rooms. Steps bumping clearly when someone walks.

It is very clean and modern and well taken care it. It is located right on the main strip in Grand Bend and just a few minutes walk to the beach!

We loved the Colonial for its location and walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Newly renovated, the beds are comfortable, bathroom beautiful and the outdoor area with tables for eating is great. The fire tables at night also great! Only issue in room 101 was lack of soundproofing. It faced a busy road and we could hear every vehicle go by at night. It felt like the people who were talking outside the room were sitting on the end of our bed and they stayed up until after 2am. A soundproof door would make a great difference!

Very friendly staff and when they found out we were celebrating our 30 year wedding anniversary we were offer a nice bottle of wine then an upgrade to our room 😀

This one of the best remodel and rebirth of a hotel that was a failing 150 year old stage coach hotel. The attention to detail in bringing it to the level of a deluxe first class property can't be understated

Great location: About seven minutes' walk to the beach. Parking: Excellent. Located outside the property and is included in the hotel rate. Hotel seems to have been refurbished recently. Looks more modern and bright. . The staff were friendly and helpful. Slightly noisy at times during the night due to its location. Overall a nice stay.

Lovely room a smaller one queen size bed and nice balcony exit. But the only thing I would say is that it needed a chair in the room Otherwise very nice.
