Breathtaking panoramas are visible from nearly every room in this lovely, perfectly appointed home, promising to awe guests throughout their stay.

This nearly 3,000 square-foot four-bedroom, three-bath home is light, bright, and airy with an open floor plan and wall-to-wall picture windows inviting breathtaking mountainscapes and natural light inside. With updates galore, tasteful yet comfortable furnishings, and oh-so-pleasing decor, you’ll find a soft place to land immediately upon entering.

Hearthstone House offers an expansive, completely modernized kitchen that features a very roomy and cozy bench seat nestled into a windowed nook, where guests can enjoy coffee in the morning and wine in the evening while taking in the view and chatting with whoever desires to be the chef. There might be some vying for that title in this kitchen! Its large gas-cooktop range, oversized island, built-in double oven, and microwave will impress and inspire anyone who loves to cook. There is ample seating for a large group of family and friends in the kitchen and dining room, both featuring those incredible views showcased so spectacularly at Hearthstone House.

A four-season room and large outside deck overlook the beautiful in-ground pool (non-heated, so intended for seasonal use) and miles of treeline with a mountainous backdrop. The spacious living room features a fireplace for added ambiance and warmth in cooler months.

With two kings and one queen bedroom and a room with two twin beds, Hearthstone House comfortably sleeps eight people.

Located 16 miles from Lake Adger, 20 miles from Lake Lure, 24 miles from Chimney Rock, 3 miles from the Palmetto Trail at Blue Wall Passage, and less than an hour from Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway, Hearthstone provides guests with many day trip options, in addition to plenty of solitude. Historic Landrum’s varied shops, historical sites, and numerous restaurants (promised to please every palate and accommodate all price preferences) make sticking close desirable. AREA WIDE NOTICE: Lake Lure will undergo a drawdown from January 1st, 2025, through the first quarter of 2025(March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet have been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. For more information, click here. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. This will not affect the smaller lakes in the area, only Lake Lure itself.

Pets are not allowed in this home or on the property.
