Our off grid cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains offers a cozy sleeping loft with a plush queen bed. The warm lighting and wood finishes of the home create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

This cozy home features a single well appointed bathroom. It includes a full sized shower, antique reclaimed sink base, and a composting toilet. This unique toilet allows our cabin to have the convenience of indoor bathroom facilities in our off grid location. The bathroom is well stocked with plush towels for your convenience.

The living area of this home has a warm and inviting ambiance. Its centerpiece is a large propane fireplace that keeps the entire home cozy and offers a relaxing glow in the evenings. The vaulted ceilings and generous windows allow for plenty of natural light, creating an airy atmosphere.
The well equipped kitchen features an open plan layout with a full sized refrigerator and a gas stove. The oven is also powered by propane, which allows for the convenience of a wide array of meals in our off grid location.
The lounge area offers a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, furnished with a upholstered loveseat and a stylish cognac leather recliner placed directly in front of the warm fireplace and wall-mounted Smart TV.

This cabin offers lovely views of a natural wetland feeding into a large pond. You can savor the panoramic views of the forest from the home's private screened in porch while enjoying your morning coffee. You may even spot a deer grazing nearby or a beaver feverishly working to dam the pond!

Please note this cabin is partially off grid meaning we have nontraditional plumbing. Instead of a traditional toilet, we have a composting toilet. Don't worry, it's easy to use and we will provide instructions!
Additionally the bed is located in the loft. There is a semi steep staircase/ladder to access this area. This area also has low ceilings. If you have mobility concerns, we do not recommend booking.
