Unfortunately, this place lost electricity due to a storm the day I was supposed to check in. I did not know until I showed up and they weren’t allowing check in at that time. I’ve stayed here before and love it so had hoped to stay again. Sadly, I had need of electricity and was told I should then find another hotel if I can and that I would be put on the refund list. I never did receive a refund and was finally told I won’t. Would have been nice to have been told that upfront rather than promised and then denied. Debating whether I’ll stay here again

I must say the staff at this okemos facility we're outstanding friendly and courteous and even a little bit of fun. The Continental breakfast was very nice and the fact that we could have our dog with us was the icing on the cake.

The young man at the front desk was very nice but he didn’t have a clean room to check us into at 3:00 check in time. Poor thing had to scramble to track down housekeeping while we waited. One of the main reasons I booked here instead of somewhere else was the hot breakfast. We were up at 7:00 a.m. and no breakfast was happening at all. And there was no one at the front desk to ask, so we left as we had to get to an early event. Quite disappointing since that was one of the main reasons I picked the hotel over others.

Check in was ok. The room was ok, but the stool was loose and moved when you saw down. I asked the maid to do our room next and she agreed. However, our room was not made up - bed not made, restroom not cleaned, no new towels waste baskets not emptied, etc. The motel needs to be renovated.

I strayed for two nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was very low even though it was used during a non-peak time. The wifi/internet was intermittent at best. It locked up frequently and required me to agree to the terms and conditions about every two hours, which was annoying. Breakfast on the first day was excellent. Scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles and several other things. The second day there was no hot food and just a few muffins and bagels. For the price I was charged, it's unlikely that I will stay there again.

Property was nice, front desk was kind. Our room was not clean when we checked in. Sheets seemed clean, but i had to clean the very gross bathroom. I went to the front desk to tell them my room wasn't cleaned. They offered a new room, but my family was too tired to move everything. I was then given cleaner, gloves and some rags. Took me a half hour to clean it enough to shower. Gross!
