The staff are all welcoming. They welcomed us with calamansi juice drink, very refreshing. My sons and I had a quick good nap in this establishment while waiting for our early flight the following day. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’ll go to Cebu.

I enjoyed my stay here. The spa services were phenomenal! However, housekeeping services were not as excellent as I expected. I had to inform housekeeping services to provide me with towels and water; it wasn't done daily. Overall, the dining and Spa services were excellent!

Everything about this place is extra. To get a ride to the airport 800 php. Double a grab ride. Check in early 2 k double other hotels. Not worth it

Maybe a new hotel, but you should be careful to know that the check-in time is 3pm. When I arrived at the front desk at 1:45pm, the receptionist said the check-in time is 3pm. He said that I had to wait till 3 pm. He recommend to wait in a restaurant in the hotel, but I did not want to spend my money there because I had lunch already. Thus I spent more than 30 minutes outside hotel where there are hot and nothing to see. I did not find any special reasons that they made me wait for more than 30 minutes even though I arrived in 1:45 pm. It was a strange experience for me. The other issue is that the free shuttle to beach departs at 9:30am and 1:30 pm (only two times). So you cannot use it for the day when you check-in at 3pm. Moreover, the swimming pool in the hotel is so small that you cannot enjoy swimming. The massage shop in the top is very expensive compared to normal massage shops in Mactan island.

1521 is a nice hotel and we would stay again. The breakfast was good and they have a pool. The room was large and comfortable. Our only issue is the location which is not convenient to shops or restaurants. The value we got for the stay was very good.
