The property needed some repairs. The cabinet in the bathroom had a lot of damage on the front, the make-up mirror on the wall wasn’t very secure and the toilet seat would slid when you sat on it. The bathroom wall appeared to have blood splattered stains on it. They needed to consider better ventilation for the casino so that the smell of cigarette smoke wasn’t so strong throughout the facility.

The location of this property is excellent. You can't beat middle strip. Rooms were big. The cabinets were a little beat up but not too badly. The only disappointment was that the pool was closed but we used the Paris one. A slushy drink was $37, which is ridiculous.

For an older Las Vegas hotel, the Horseshoe is not bad. It is well run; the staff is friendly; and the facility is not overly crowded. The rooms were dated but were large, tidy, and clean.

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable room, staff were all very friendly. The only issue for us was the high level of smokiness in the casino and lobby. More so than in other casinos we went too. It’s too bad because the hotel itself is great and very affordable.
