Disappointed experience!
it was bad experience, I did my reservation and we get there to check-in and no room available and I had to wait for the OYO hotel once the room become available. I recieved a call at 2am the next day and I was told that there was no room and transfered over to Westin Hotel. I lost hours of sleep and very disappointing because I had to pay again at Westin hotel. I already paid in advance and have money for all my expenses and I lost money beacuse the next day I had to register and wait until 3 pm to register at OYO hotel those tickets that I already paid I lost them because It changed my plans. Elevators was also an issue there was only 1 elevator working.

I am disappointed that Expedia has this property listed. It was like staying at a older/run down Motel 6, with a casino. My expectation is that the hotels Expedia represent are a strong 3 stars and above, I cannot recommend this property or Expedia after staying at the OYO … for many reasons and there isn’t enough space here. I was just very disappointed and new it would not be easy to change hotels once I arrived and checked in 😢

The hotel is dirty, it smells bad, and the bed has stains, and the mirror has finger prints on it, and on online it looks so clean and everything but it is fake, and I do not prefer this hotel at all, I give it a 0 out of 5.

Hotel showers and bathroom was disgusting. Black rings all around tub. Hallways smelled horrible and elevators were constantly breaking down. Never will I stay here again.

Our stay at OYO was longer than one would typically stay in Vegas. The property does not exactly set the world alight but it delivered a reasonably priced option for accommodation within arms reach of The Strip. There were a few notable concerns, - We stayed for seven nights, and during that time, our room was not serviced once. To be fair, we only really needed the towels to be replaced, which was easy enough to request. - Dated/degraded state of the room: OYO is an older property in Vegas, and it showed in the room, with dated fixtures (no fixed lights in the ceiling, the worst shower I have ever seen in a dwelling) and features in a state of disrepair, such as the sliding mirror, which was broken and didn't function and the carpet, I don't think this has been cleaned, ever.... - Elevators were an interesting situation - in total, there were three in service, and each one had an assistant sitting inside it to push the buttons; all the other elevators were "being improved". - Resorts Fee - acknowledge that this is a typical "fee" that the vast majority of hotels in Vegas charge; it would be appreciated if they included this in the total cost of the room rather than spring it on us as we check in - this was disappointing as it was unexpected which resulted in frustration and resentment. - Luggage storage - this apparently isn't a service the hotel provides. If we were to do this trip again, it is unlikely that we would consider OYO.

I’ll never stay at the OYO again
We were hit with fees other than the deposit for incidentals and resort fee. Customer service was terrible, it was like no employee was happy to be working there. Especially those manning the working elevators (very few elevators were working). The hotel looked and felt run down and unclean. The only bright spots were the $1 blackjack and the host at Hooters when we got our breakfast order to-go.

The place is convenient to other casinos and the strip, but the construction noise next door where Tropicana once stood is unbearable and it starts at 6am so good luck trying to sleep. Our bathrooms were not properly clean. My tub had so much hair left behind from a previous guest.

Stayed here several times, no looking for a luxury hotel. Just some place clean, safe, and convenient - that is why I keep coming back. On the "areas to improve".. Parking is no longer free - had to pay 2 days at nearly $100. The Hooters restaurant had limited hours, as well as the bar. The elevators were now staffed and limited to one at each tower.... was this a safety issue??? Otherwise all was consistent with my past stays.. The additional parking expense will be a factor on my next visit.

Horrible experience
I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times before, but this was by far the worst experience. To start, the lady at the front desk demonstrated poor customer service. We were under the impression that we only owed a certain amount at property, but the final amount was 3xs more . This required us to transfer money, and not wanting to hold up the line, we stepped aside. Once the transfer was complete, the front desk agent informed us that we had to get back in line—which had filled up again by that point. Additionally, the staff working the elevators created more frustration. They were instructing people who were going down to get on the elevator regardless of their destination, which caused the elevator to stop on every floor. This led to unnecessary delays, with everyone having to get out to let those going up exit, only to take it back down. The issues continued at Steak ’n Shake, where we experienced the worst customer service. We waited for 15 minutes without the manager or cashier acknowledging us—not even a simple ‘we’ll be right with you.’ After counting the drawer, the cashier still didn’t acknowledge us. When I asked if someone would assist us, he casually replied, ‘yeah,’ but continued to ignore us for several more minutes. Finally, he laughingly told the cleaning staff—who had no idea we were waiting—that there was someone to assist. She promptly apologized for the rudeness of the others and kindly took our order. Overall, this experience fell far short of the previous.
