Great hotel
The casino hotel was very convenient. Having a baby at a casino is not an easy thing. But the hotel’s staff made us feel welcomed which I really appreciated.

Ample free parking, big clean hotel/casino, hotel room floor was quiet, enjoyed the food at the Asian restaurant inside of hotel, ton of games, I recommend if not wanting to stay on strip. Lot of restaurants around. Will return when back in Vegas.

While the hotel was clean, and the staff was relatively helpful, we did encounter several problems. The Wi-Fi essentially never worked, during our entire stay. Even when you get the free Wi-Fi working, it is such low bandwidth that you can’t do much. I had to change rooms several times just to get a working connection, but then it went away several times and I couldn’t actually do the work I needed to do. I have never experienced this at a different hotel. On top of that, we went to the pool one time and it bleached our bathing suits. I really had high hopes, but I do not intend to stay at the Suncoast again.

All the food services seemed understaffed; a private group dinner for 23 had 1 server, a hot dog and soda at the walk-up snack bar took ten minutes; the casual diner often had many empty tables yet 8-12 customers waiting to be seated or even to pay their bill. Also missing 'standard' room amenities like coffeemaker and/or microwave despite hefty daily mandatory 'resort fee'. And of course the entire lobby was awash in large, loud, bright games.

Its a great budget casino. The room was huge and clean. A bit old but still nice. The pool is just a pool. Looks nice. The casino is very smoky though, its hard to believe how many people still smoke. Free parking is a hidden perk. Summerlin is amazing. No need for the strip
