Good location on the road to the volcano
ClƩment was very welcoming. The room was very simple but certainly adequate with all the basics, though the lighting could be improved. The evening meals were well-prepared and copious. The B&B is quiet and very well-located for visiting the Piton de la Fournaise volcano, which must be seen during any visit to La RƩunion. I did feel that the health rules required by the pandemic were not adequately followed, and felt uncomfortable about that point.

The property was ok if you need a place to sleep but, definitely no more than ordinary. Breakfast was limited offering and there was not a lot of charm. Average is best I would give it.

Accueil assez Ć©trange, froid et sommaire. On s'est rendu en revenant en dĆ©but de soirĆ©e que la salle du sĆ©jour Ć©tait fermĆ©e Ć  clefs sans nous prĆ©venir, nos clefs ne donnant accĆØs qu'Ć  la chambre. Bref, il y a tout pour mais on est loin du concept de la maison d'hĆ“te...

HĆ“te trĆØs accueillant et trĆØs arrangeant. Nous sommes arrivĆ©s vers 17h15, il Ć©tait encore possible de commander le diner pour le soir-mĆŖme. Repas partagĆ© avec les autres pensionnaires : grand moment de convivialitĆ©. Le lendemain, nous avons pu laisser nos bagages dans la chambre le temps de monter au Piton de la Fournaise.

Nous sommes arrivĆ©s Ć  15h30 il nous a fait remarquer que cā€™Ć©tait 16 heures et il pleuvait le lendemain matin nous nous sommes rĆ©veillĆ© et nous avons dĆ©couvert que le parquet Ć©tait trempĆ© dans toute la chambre je suis dodo depuis un certain nombre de temps pour te fenĆŖtre qui ne fermait pas avec 2 cm de jours en dessous oĆ¹ cā€™est gelĆ© petit dĆ©jeuner normalement servi Ć  7h30 Il Ć©tait huit heures on avait toujours pas dĆ©jeunĆ© et il nous a mĆŖme fait le reproche quā€™on Ć©tait en vacances mais quā€™on Ć©tait assez pressĆ© cela ne le regardait pas

Bon emplacement pour les randos vers le volcan. Ceci mis Ć  part, la structure est vieillissante, non chauffĆ©e, mal isolĆ©e, et mal ventilĆ©e. On est Ć  plus de 1600 m dā€™altitude et il pleut beaucoup ! Bref, au bout de 3 nuits sur place, toutes nos affaires Ć©taient humides. Et on nā€™est pas dans une ambiance confortable de retour de rando . ClĆ©ment est tout sourire,ā€¦ Ć  condition dā€™accepter son systĆØme ; petit dejĀ“ Ć  partir de 7h30, mais en pratique, rien nā€™est prĆŖt avant 8h. Sympa quand il le ciel est bien dĆ©gagĆ© et quā€™on nā€™a quā€™une hĆ¢te, cā€™est dā€™aller au pied du volcan. ClĆ©ment vous expliquera que cela ne sert Ć  rien de partir tĆ“t ! Bref, Ć  Ć©viter, tant que la maison nā€™aura pas Ć©tĆ© rĆ©novĆ©e et que ClĆ©ment nā€™aura pas compris que cā€™est parfois Ć  lui de sā€™adapter aux besoins de ses clients.
