Managed By: @TraverseHospitality

The Space:
You`ll feel instantly at home in the Rose, with two bedrooms each boasting a queen bed, a spacious full bath, living room for lounging, and a large enough kitchen for all the cooks in your party. A south-facing sun room has plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy, plus a fenced yard, perfect for summertime. Large windows let in the beautiful Colorado sunshine year-round. The Rose is a short walking distance to downtown`s shops & restaurants, two blocks from the local pub, and almost next door to Leadville`s historic railway station (seasonal, twice daily scenic tours only). Guest Access:
Guests have access to their private home.

The Neighborhood:
There’s no end to the outdoor activities you can enjoy here, from mild scenic hikes to ultra-athletic pursuits, and we’re not limited by season. Head out on a fall colors bike ride, ski or snowshoe, go fly fishing, or climb the fourteeners! And as for the great indoors, we have plenty of restaurants, shops and historical attractions.

Getting Around:
Leadville is a very walkable city, and this home is in the heart of downtown. Free on-street parking is included.

Parking: Although not guaranteed, this home has room for approximately two cars to be parked in front of it. Leadville’s Victorian homes were historically built quite close together in the days before the “horseless carriage.” As such, parking can sometimes be a challenge. In the winter, maintaining an open parking space can cost homeowners a significant amount of money and/or hours spent shoveling. Please take these things into consideration as you plan your trip, and be courteous to your local neighbors by trying to park directly in front of the home you have rented.

Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.

Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.

Nice and cozy.
We were here to tour and discover Leadville and the surrounding area. Had a great time and enjoyed the town, parade, and people we meet. Wish we had small glasses for cocktails but a very minor detail. Thank you for a nice stay and superb property managers.

Comfortable, Met our needs.
I need a place that I can use as a base for field work and then analyze field work results that is close to services in Leadville. This place was not fancy but certainly functional for my purpose and just two blocks from downtown

Quick weekend trip to run & bike in the mountains
My husband and I stayed here this past weekend. It was perfect for the two of us. It’s walkable to town for coffee and dinner. We spent most of the day out in the mountains, and rested well here at night. It’s a cute little house and I would recommend it.
