Mt. Gretna Get Away
We really loved staying here. The community was really nice and peaceful. This was a cozy little get away. The finished basement didn’t end up getting used because the futon wasn’t very comfortable. Other than that we loved everything about our stay. I would recommend this to close friends and family.

Perfect Spot for Pets!
We visited with our two dogs and very much appreciated how dog friendly this cabin was. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch. Also slept soundly: all beds were very comfortable. We will stay again!

Friend Stay
Lovely home in the middle of everything. Screened porch was the perfect place to listen to the concert. Sleeping arrangements were a little difficult since we are over 65 a the stairs are rather steep. The double bed is a Murphy bed in the middle of the upstairs hallway, which was inconvenient for us. The basement futon could use a new mattress. It would have been nice to have instructions for working the TVs. The kitchen is well stocked and there are two small refrigerators, one with a small freezer attached on the side. Extremely handy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Incredible During a Family Emergency
We were absolutely thrilled with our experience - family needed a place in Mount Gretna to stay incredibly last-minute, and we were grateful for the amazing space and communication throughout our stay. We'll definitely stay again and truly appreciate the Penn Realty team for all their help.

Relax, unwind, refresh
Such an idyllic setting! We were able to relax in the peace. The home is very sweet and whimsical. I’m glad that my doodle, Fionna, could stay with us. The home is old, I understand, but there are aspects that are not safe for elderly/disabled guests. Be very careful with the tub, stairs, and porch swing. The home was generally clean, but had a few issues that we reported to the realty.

We loved our stay! The space is beautifully decorated and colorful. The porch was very relaxing and peaceful. It was a perfect location to stay with the family. It is close to all attractions including the PA Renaissance Faire, Hershey, and Dutch Wonderland. The campground is gorgeous! We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Unique neighborhood
Second time staying with 100 year old tiny cottage. Interior was clean. Air not stale. New nice windows. Shower in claw foot tub was new experience that I found a bit unsafe, slippery and no bars or anything to hold. There’s a fire station very close by and very loud alarms go off at any time. We did like this cute neighborhood and walking was fun. Lots of stray cats adorn the area and we saw kittens too. Probably not great for the environment, yet sure fun to see. Historic church tabernacle with entertainment too. Great restaurant the Hideaway in walking distance is a must.

Wonderful stay
We had a great stay in Mt. Gretna. The cottage is adorable and impeccably clean. The new murphy bed in the adjoining upstairs bedroom works like a charm and is very convenient. The property owners/management company were 100 percent responsive with the few questions we had before our visit. We had no need to contact anyone while there as everything was exactly as it was supposed to be. I highly recommend this property.

Recommend
The house is very nice and updated. If u have problems with steps and getting in and out of a old iron tub beware. Would highly recommended. The real estate company did not respond to us as we needed to stay a few extra days and on VRBO it was available. Stayed at another residence without all the fees. Great. Location. Only one of 4 remotes had batteries in them. The porch area and back could have been cleaned up. The chairs by fire pit rotten. Overall I still would recommend and hopefully the Penn Reality who lists through VRBO takes care of these issues. To nice a property to not be perfect.

Excellent stay at Mt Gretna Campmeeting cottage
Our family of 3 really enjoyed our stay at this Mt. Gretna cottage. It was comfortable and cozy for our family of 3 and our 2 dogs who were traveling with us. We enjoyed walking around the community and exploring the neighborhood. It was convenient for the activities we had planned in the area and close to excellent hiking trails. Beds were comfortable, check in was easy and we enjoyed nearby meals at Mt. Gretna Pizzeria and the Hideaway. All within walking distance. Thanks for a great stay.
