Lovely Stay with a Beautiful Garden
Loved our stay here. Mark and Becky were incredibly helpful and pleasant during our stay, even kindly providing milk, bread and eggs upon our arrival so we could have breakfast before a big shop. The property is perfect for couples with a large bedroom upstairs and lovely kitchen/lounge downstairs. All the rooms are very light with lots of windows. The garden is beautiful and perfect for eating outside by the pond or watching the stars from the end of the garden. It was delightful to have lambs and sheep kept at a neighbouring property that are occasionally let into the field next door so you can see them up close. You'll need a car to visit and I think the town Ledbury is a bit far to walk into. But if you like walking and hiking, the property is at the bottom of the Malvern Hills which have beautiful views from the top. There is also a pub that is walkable through the footpaths from the property, unfortunately we didn't have time to go ourselves but with more time we definitely would have. Ledbury the town is great to visit with a nice community feeling, and lots of Tudor buildings to see. When we were there the town was holding a week long poetry festival, and we also stumbled upon Morris Dancers doing a performance under Ledbury Market House. From the property we were able to do day trips to the Cotswolds (about an hour drive) and Symonds Yat in the Wye Valley (about 40 minutes drive). Would definitely stay again!
