Anniversary Weekend
The neighborhood of this cabin is quiet and perfect for a serene spot to get away. The listing is accurate in that these sweet cabins are rustic but perfectly appointed for all you need. We enjoyed eating in Traverse City, exploring Sutton's Bay, kayaking during the sunrise from the dock, and watching the moon rise over the bay and firepit! The hot tub was a little aged, but still delightful on a cool morning. The location on the peninsula is great and easy to navigate. If you want a laid-back, authentic lake experience, this is it.

We appreciated the location and the charm of this property
Our stay at the Lee Point cottages was great -- the location was truly excellent and the two-cabin set-up was nice for couples travelling together. In the best possible way, I felt like we went back in time to a different era on Lake Michigan (although some guests who are used to completely modern spaces may not feel the same). It was, in short, our cup of tea and was a very enjoyable stay for our group. The Golden Swan property management team was also super responsive and great, which was much appreciated.

We spent wonderful week at Lee Point cabins. Listing was very accurate. Cabins had everything a family would need during lake vacation. Kayaks and SUPs for guests to use. A note from the host, coffee and wine were a nice welcome touch. Beds are very comfortable. Excellent place.

Amazing location to relax
What a wonderful property for our family of 5 and our dog! The property is in a fantastic location. Close to Traverse City, Suttons Bay, North Port and Leland. Northern Michigan has so many fun towns and this location and property brought the best of it! With 2 cabins to stretch out in along with water access on Lake Michigan, we could not have asked for a better 4th of July get away. We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful location!
The property was beautiful! It’s perfectly situated so that we were able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the yard and pier. The bedding was super comfortable and the welcome wine was a nice touch. We rented both cabins and had our own space while our adult kids were in their own cabin. We enjoyed the shared outdoor space with the fire pit. We would stay again!

Perfect lake getaway
I had a great time here with my family!! The location is perfect - close to Traverse City, 5 mins from Hop Lot Beer Garden, wineries, etc. while still feeling very secluded. We loved the well-appointed firepit/grill area, hot tub, hammock, and of course the private dock with kayaks and paddleboards! It is a tad rustic - no dishwasher, small bathrooms - but that was fine for us. Very well taken care of, and clean comfy beds.

Wonderful Classic Cabins Close to Sutton's Bay & TC!
I stayed here with my family, 7 of us total (8 if you count my pug, ha!). We really enjoyed using the fire pit, hot tub, paddle boards and kayaks! And I LOVED the outdoor shower (around back from the 2 bdrm cabin)-- was so happy to see it has HOT WATER and takes zero time to heat up! The cabins are classic Northern Michigan, with cool vintage touches yet modern amenities like AC (window, in each bedroom and the living/dining areas), plenty of beach towels and lots of personal touches (that are sadly becoming more and more rare in these short-term rentals, such lots of extra blankets in the closets, unique books, local reading material, a nice welcome card and coupons for wine tasting at a nearby vineyard. It's about 10-20 min to downtown TC and 5-10 min to Sutton's Bay Main Street, depending on traffic. There are tons of local wineries within bike riding distance and a place to rent bikes right in Sutton's Bay to hop on the Leelenau Bike Trail which is a 17 mile ride into downtown TC. We were also delighted to discover the Cheese Store right across the street from the main road you turn off of to get to Lee Point. Owner was super responsive whenever we had a question about something on the property. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend the booking! My family is already talking about how they would love to come back. :)

Wonderful view of the water
We loved the nearly 180 degree view of the bay (blue water, blue sky), and having access to the water via the dock and provided paddle boards. Having the two cabins worked great for our family (plus two dogs), especially because of the shared stone patio in between them for coming together, eating at the big table, and sitting around the fire. The hot tub and view from the hot tub were especially enjoyed. From the outside, the cabins look like typical classic rustic north woods cabins. Inside, they're up to date and extremely clean and pleasant. Bright and welcoming. From time to time there are random passing cars on the road in front of the cabins (35 mph limit), and, on one day of our visit, after the wind direction changed overnight, a bit of sound could be heard from the two-lane highway far in the distance to the west, but neither was a problem and are mentioned only to say that the cabins aren't deep in the wilderness. In fact, the location was a positive for its relative closeness to the town of Suttons Bay, its restaurants, and places like the Leo Creek Preserve, which we discovered by accident and liked a lot. We'd stay in the cabins again for sure.

As good as the pictures show.
This property is great for relaxing and enjoying the area. Beautiful views from the hot tub and patio as well as from inside. Although it was hard to leave the patio, we went for a 20 mile bike ride to get breakfast in lake leelanau, a great way to see the apple and grape orchards. The property has all the comforts of home. The neighbors are friendly.

One last summer weekend getaway!
It was nice to find a place that was so secluded in such a popular vacation area yet still so close to the action. We did go out for most of our meals & ordered pizza too. Listening to the lake while sleeping was my favorite part. Anywhere you sit outside you have a front row seat to the lake! The communication with our hosts was easy and prompt. Our teenagers were entertained with the paddleboards, kayaks, hammock and hot tub! We were close enough to spend the morning at sleeping bear dunes and get back for lunch/shopping at Sutton Bay and then some afternoon watertime in the lake followed by an evening in Traverse City - then hot tub under the stars...not sure it could be more perfect for a summer weekend getaway!

Great view of the Bay
Our family really enjoyed our time at the Suttons Bay Cabins. The water was crystal clear and the dock, paddle boards and kayaks were like brand new. The Cabins were tastefully decorated and very clean, however, the kitchen utensils, pans, plates, glasses and mugs, etc…need to be updated. The outdoor space is amazing! We loved the hot tub and the fire pit and the beautiful bay view from the hammock. We ate all of our meals on the picnic table over looking the water! We rented a pontoon boat in Suttons Bay and had a spectacular day on the water. I would highly recommend this property.
