Stayed briefly one night , waited at reception for checkin & waited. When dealt with no great information nor real attentiveness. Basic clean facilities, the sort of place with no real character, view or great facilities. Adequate for what was a comfy bed sleep , cost effective but wouldn’t bother to visit nor book return unless necessity.

Receptionist wasnt very welcoming, she just looked like i was bothering her, didnt explain about any amenities i was just told breakfast ends at 9.00 thats as far as the conversation ehen . Did not have a very good attitude. Room was ok a bit dated. Steps to rooms were very steep. Room was clean, bathroom very dated. Curtains needed ironed, light bulbs missing from some of the room lighting and tv had a mind off its own switching on and off

A fine welcome

The Staff were extremely helpful and we received a warm welcome. Parking is at the rear and the signage is poor, the "N" being missing from Caledonian. That about sums it up. Refurbishment is required. However our room had sparking white linen and our evening meal was adequate.
