Nice old home, close to downtown but on a busy road
Home was overall as advertised, with three bedrooms upstairs (and one other small room too small to fit a bed). The downstairs has a nice living room and adequate kitchen. It served our family of 4 well for a quick weekend visit. The owners provided a small cheese tray and bottle of wine, which was an excellent touch! The main draw of the home is proximity to "downtown" Versailles, with restaurants only .25 mile walk down the street. However the tradeoff is location along a busy road. This creates road noise, particularly for the largest bedroom. The biggest drawback is a driveway that is almost impossible to back out from due to a blind corner and cars approaching up a hill. If the homeowners could find a way to create a turnaround or circle drive it would improve this home immensely. The listing shows an approximate location and so this was a surprise when we arrived. After the first time we parked along the street every time (and there is ample street parking). Other small con is lack of an ice maker in the freezer. This is something most renters would expect from a well appointed VRBO.

Bourbon Trail Small Town Charmer
My Husband, teenage son and I enjoyed this 3 bedroom vintage home with all the upgrades. The period furniture and décor added to the charm and made us feel as if we stepped back to a quieter time yet we wanted for nothing. The kitchen in particular was fully upgraded with plenty of pots, pans and dishes. We appreciated all the small touches and treats left for us including a bottle of Wine, which was a nice reprieve from all the Bourbon that week! I particularly loved the shady front porch and looking down the street at all the lovely 4th of July decorations on people's homes. This home is on the main street so mornings come early but cute Shops and restaurants within 1-2 min in all directions and Woodford Rerserve Distillery a short easy drive through beautiful horse country. As Versailles was at the end of our vacation I very much appreciated the washer/dryer. We were able to take home more clean clothes than dirty. Overall we would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to family/friends.

Was a great stay. Enjoyed the older home. Lot of character and good walking distance from downtown. Central location for bourbon tours. The only negative was the temperature and the ability to stay cool. Would stay again

A Very Pleasant Stay
Our group of six friends had a wonderful time on our long weekend in Versailles. Falin’s home is a lovely older house. Exceptionally clean with comfortable beds and lots of original charm. It was a good central location for all of our activities. We would definitely stay here again.

Property was a very nice old house. Tons of character, only minor complaint is the listing says hot tub on premises but there wasn't. Host was very prompt in responding to inquiries. Would definitely stay again.

This house is gorgeous! Very clean! Kitchen is well stocked and it is decorated beautifully through out! The street was a little loud but that was at no fault of the owners. We have already booked our next stay in this home!

Five family members were in Versailles for a wedding. The house is beautiful with antique furnishings. The steps up to the bedrooms were a bit challenging for those of us that are over 80. We had everything we needed for our 5 day stay.
