You will love this newly built country cottage situated in an area close to Midway, Versailles, Lexington, Georgetown, Bluegrass Airport, and in the heart of bourbon and horse country.

Our guests found our getaway to be a perfect combination of peacefulness and convenience.

We are centrally located and near Keeneland, Kentucky Horse Park and on the Bourbon Trail.

Sleeps 6:
Room 1: This room is on the first floor with one queen bed, a large walk-in closet, a private full bathroom with a shower—a Roku TV in the room.

Room 2: This room is on the first floor with two twin beds. A shared full bathroom with tub and shower.

Room 3: This room is located in the loft and has a King bed and oversized dresser for maximum storage. A half bath upstairs is shared with the loft area—a Roku TV in the room.

Loft: Large area used for a home office, game time, or the extra space needed when multiple families prepare for their evening outings. 

Highlights:
Huge loft for private adult or teen area. Massive front porch for relaxing, dining, or games. Beautiful views of the sunset or enjoying the night sky.
Our cottage is great for family nights, visiting local attractions, and Keeneland weekends. Space perfect for special occasions and multiple family getaways.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is stocked with All-Clad pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes, Keurig and Drip coffee maker, a toaster, a microwave, an electric skillet, a crockpot, an electric stove, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator/freezer. One cabinet is dedicated to barware. Wine opener, shot glasses, stemless Yeti wine glasses, Derby glasses, and more.
Security: Our cottage has a Ring doorbell at the back entrance of the property that is monitored while unoccupied. The front driveway Ring can be manually turned off by using the switch at the front door labeled "RIng." This will also turn off the security light at the front of the home.

Great location for UK Football, Keeneland Racing or Sales, and Kentucky Horse Park. It is also only 45 minutes from Louisville.

As you drive to our cottage, allow enough time to admire the scenery.
You will travel down Old Frankfort Pike, a Scenic Byway and home to Three Chimneys, Darby Dan, and Lane's End farms.

Simply the Best!!!!
The entire experience was perfect! The owner connected me immediately and kept in contact during our stay. She offered spot on suggestions for activities and dining. The accommodations were wonderful. If you are a horse person, check out the prints on the upper level but my favorite was the horse in motion by the back door. Cocktail hour included horses and deer in the pasture next door as we enjoyed the front porch. Kitchen had everything we needed but we only prepared breakfast. Returning home after bourbon tours or our day at Keeneland was all we needed. The only reason we left was because our host was hosting friends. One of the best VRBO experiences!

Second Stay
The title says it all. This is our second time staying at Andrea's house and we are already looking to come back. That really is all you need to know. But the house is very comfortable, well appointed, has everything you need - including the occasional glimpse of horses in the pasture next door. Everything about the house is wonderful. Location is wonderful, easy access to many activities in the area. Come and stay, you won't regret it.

Cottage in Bluegrass Horse Country
My husband, teen son and I had a charming stay in this beautifully restored and renovated cottage in the country. We loved the location as it was quiet and in the middle of all that is Kentucky Horse Country. Big name Thoroughbred Horse Farms with gorgeous barns, rolling green hills, miles of fences and plenty of stunning horses in the pastures, including foals. Keeneland Race Track is a short drive away and the cute little town of Midway a few minutes drive for shops and great local restaurants/bars. So much early American history around the area within an hours drive radius as well. Of course, Bourbon abounds here, and we were close to many distilleries, visiting Buffalo Trace (which was free!) and Woodford Reserve. The cottage itself was smartly decorated for the location and very well done with top notch linens, towels and kitchen appliances. We did not eat in, choosing to support the local spots but I noticed plenty of pots/pans dishes etc. Since we came during the heat wave we did not use the firepit or get to sit on porch much, but the cottage A/C worked perfect and we wanted for nothing. We would love to come back again and stay at this property, longer this time as it was a highlight of our family vacation.

Everything about this Property is Wonderful!
We had three couples for a birthday celebration and to check out some bourbon distilleries. The house was more than spacious for our group, tastefully decorated, and extremely clean. The kithchen has everything you need to cook. Communication was great from the property owner. I look forward to coming back in the warmer months to take advantage of the absolutely homey and gorgeous porch and to utilize the outdoor grill.

Absolutely loved our stay. Place is beautiful. Would definitely stay here again. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. If I was going to be super picky, I would say that the upstairs bedroom does not have a proper closet, but has plenty of dresser drawers for storage and is a nice big room. And for anyone staying with anyone other than family, keep in mind the room upstairs only has a half bath. This just makes it so you have to juggle shower times a bit. Can’t say enough good about this house. We truly loved our stay. We were close to Keeneland, and used this as our base for going to the races, and touring farms and distilleries in the area. The town of Midway is very close and a really cute stop with several restaurant options. Oh and the front porch is an amazing place to sit and sip a cocktail and watch the sunset. Host is super responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect!
I cannot say enough good things about this property! The pictures do not do it justice. Everything we needed was in the kitchen, everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, the grill was perfect for cooking out with friends, and the patio was beautiful and comfortable at night for dinner. Fantastic home away from home!
This is one of the very best kept secrets in Lexington! Such a beautiful and fully equipped home that provides everything that you need to enjoy your stay in this fabulous area. There isn’t anything that you need to bring, and will have more to enjoy than time. The beds and baths are awesome, kitchen is beautiful and fully stocked, the decor is amazing and a wonderful porch to enjoy anytime of day. My daughter was showing her horses at the Kentucky Horse Park which is a short drive. We loved coming home to this comfortable home and the great restaurants and sights close by. We will definitely be back!

The cutest home!
One of the best rental experiences we have ever had! Andrea is phenomenal, so accommodating, responsive, and friendly. The house is incredibly charming, spacious, and exactly as pictured. Location is absolutely perfect for heading to Keeneland with a beautiful drive and zero traffic. We travel to Lex for Keeneland multiple times a year and can’t wait to stay here again!

Andrea’s home was absolutely perfect for our week in Kentucky for the Keeneland sales. Very accurate description of the property, (which also meant it was easy for an elderly lady to get around on a rollator.) Awesome Place for Weekend at Keeneland
The house is in a beautiful rural setting with a perfect front porch to enjoy the scenery. The house is very nice and is as described. It is very efficient for meals before and after a day at Keeneland. Everything worked well and the owner is very responsive. I hope to stay there again soon.

We have a large family and Andrea’s home was absolutely perfect for our stay in preparation for our daughter’s wedding at a nearby farm. This home offered everything we needed with ample space for our preparations. It was clean, well stocked, updated, and beautifully decorated. There were even fall touches to greet us upon arrival. This was the best house we’ve ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean, the host, Andrea, was so helpful and kind. She sent us ideas of things to do and places to enjoy. It was a perfect stay for ten days while my teen was in town for a horse show. We had our infant with us and everything was just as easy as it could possibly be. Perfect distance to KY Horse Park and downtown Midway is absolutely precious. It was the most wonderful stay we’ve ever had while at a horse show. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Andrea!
