Very disappointed

I was very disappointed with the lack of help the receptionist provided. I am a women travelling by myself I arrived about 8pm from the airport and when asked about whether I could get some food locally he just told me where the shops were. I asked whether it was safe as it was quite late and the area looked quite deserted, he said it was but then about five minutes after I worked out of the hotel the security guard from next door started calling after me and following me so I ran back in fear. Then when the internet was not working the receptionist just said it was a problem in the area. The porter was the only saving grace of this place he later knocked on my room and informed me that he had fixed the internet. The place also advertises that it has an airport shuttle it doesnt and I had to paqy more for my transport to the airport than I did coming from. When asked why it was more he just said that it was because it was hotel trasport,in my experience airport transport is usually the most expensive in town so it shocked me that the hotel was even pricier, he did not offer any alternative help either. The room only had net curtains which allowed no privacy at all and that was the reason I stayed in a hotel rather than a hostel and I have to say I regret in this case as for the money I paid I could pay at least pay half of this in a hostel and I have had ten times better service ad facilities.
