Central. Good place for a night stay in the center. Very hard (wooden plank-like) bed, and facilities clean but a bit run down. Friendly staff. Up several steep fights of stairs

Avoid rooms overlooking street
Unfortunately we arrived late on Saturday night and had been moved to a room overlooking the street. The bars were open and the partying continued until about 3am. Then the cars started at 5 am. Very noisy.

Well-located hostel in central Lima (although, admittedly, not everyone wants to stay in central Lima, but if you do it's in a good spot). Spacious private room. Weirdly, the bathroom, which is carved out of the larger room, doesn't have a ceiling, so I hope you're comfortable with who you're staying with if you're not alone! Also, the shower water pressure was great, but having a giant shower head that dispenses a lot of water and a tiny drain is really less than ideal and it's crazy that this wasn't obvious to whoever installed it. Price was good and staff friendly.

Decent hostel in central Lima
Orchid Hostel is a great find in central Lima. It’s pretty clean and well located. Their restaurant is super yummy. Bathrooms were well maintained. I recommend.

I had a wonderful stay. If anyone is looking for a low budget stay in central Lima. This is fantastic. The staff was so so friendly and helpful. I even managed to squeeze in a yoga class with discount. Not very far to the Metro which is actually a frequent bus service that pretty much takes you close where you need to be. Orchid Hostels also offers free walking tours and an affordable taxi service to the airport.

I liked the staffs who were always helpful. When I felt cold, they lent me a blanket for free. When I need some hot water for taking medicine, they gave me a hot water with tea bag. They are always helpful in arranging transport, even uber. The rooms were clean. But what I did not like is that my room was facing a busy road and it was quite noisy for celebrating the independency day a week before that day. I suspect that in Lima, it is common to blow horn quite frequently, to play loud music. In a way, it is not the fault of the hotel.

ESTA BIEN UBICADO. LO UE NO ME PARECE CORRECTO ES UE No se respeta el monto plasmado de reservacion, en la moneda soles; TODA VEZ ue a la llegada,lo tasan en dolares a un tipo de cambio de venta. Y a la gente ue xse hospeda sin reservacion le cobran solo 24 soles, a mi me cobran 28 soles, euivalentes a 8.2 dolares a la venta. El desayuno relativamente bueno, es lechuga y tomate, pan, mermelada, manteuilla y plarano a libre demanda, HACE FLTA YUE AGREGUEN HUEVO Y/FRIJOLES
