Needs updating
The service was good, however the hotel is in need of serious updating, and modernisation. The first night I was put in a room, where someone had smoked in the room, how housekeeping missed the stench, is beyond me. Anyway, I was moved the next day, and offered complimentary drinks, rather than a free night, which would have been more appropriate.

Rooms are clean, spacious and beds incredibly comfy. All the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Both breakfast & dinner were delicious, though the menu did feel a little limited, especially for vegetarian options. Pool/Sauna facilities were clean & well maintained, only negative being that there seems to be no time limit in place. Groups sitting in the hot tub for over an hour meaning no one else could use it. Feel this could be managed better. Overall though a great hotel, walking distance from city centre. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Was a little concerned as we drove up. The exterior was a little sketchy, however, once we entered the hotel it was very clean and nice. The staff was top notch at every level. As an American I would have loved a/c or at least a fan.

The area is lousy and the images don't show the real deal. It is a distance from the city and the upkeep is rather poor. I am surprised that it has the Maldron name on top. It needs TLC.

We had a lovely 5 day stay at the hotel would recommend it to everyone roms very clean.. Bed very comfy also the bedding Breakfast hot or cold good variety excellent quality Would come back Pool excellent swan everyday our 13 grandson loved it

It’s a nice hotel but I had several small service problems; like I could not get the soap dispenser in the shower re-filled and it took days for them to fix the lock on my room door so it would open without me going down to the front desk.
