Pretty good location that was easily walkable to many things (as “easy” as it is to walk the hills of Lisbon!). Hotel felt very safe with good security measures in place. Rooms were large with good AC and nice large shower. Only complaint is the bed was quite firm but got used to it by the 3rd night. Would choose this hotel again!

Our stay at this lovely hotel was booked last minute after another nearby hotel rejected our reservation due to my eight-year-old daughter being on the trip. Alecrim ao Chiado, on the other hand, couldn’t have been more welcoming ! We found this to be a boutique style hotel, with relatively large rooms, in a historic building freshly renovated and bristol clean. Shower was huge with two shower rails / heads and modern amenities all about the room. Fresh large towels, very comfortable linens and bedding plus plenty of water and coffee. Our room happened to be downstairs, in what used to be the stable area hundreds of years ago. It had a neat swinging style outer door, cordoning off the area. The breakfast was lovely and the location is right in the middle of Lisbon’s old town section, with many shops and restaurants and great views of the city nearby. In particular, we enjoyed shopping for a Portuguese tile souvenir at the beautiful tile shop just across the street. What we paid for this room was very fair and we couldn’t have been more delighted with our stay. Thank you Alecrim ao Chiado !

Property was exceptionally clean. My room faced the Wine Bar restaurant and never a sound was heard. Breakfast was excellent with a large variety of items and personal egg requests. Staff was helpful and answered all your questions.

Great location, impeccable service, exceptionally comfortable bed, spacious room, and an amazing spa. Igor's 25 years of experience and profound knowledge of acupuncture pressure points left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. It was the perfect conclusion to my trip to Portugal. Even if I'm unable to book a room on my next visit to Lisbon, it's good to know that Igor also accepts clients who are not staying at the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

Claudia, Gonzo and the entire staff where amazing and generous! The hotel itself is something to behold, and the breakfast they have for you is also amazing. My wife and I can't say enough about this place. It was a real gem!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and had upgraded us to a suite. The room was lovely but the shower was very small and unfortunately our balcony was opposite a very busy and noisy bar so we didn’t get much sleep and I am wondering if we got upgraded as another customer complained about these two things. Also I think the rug could do with replacing. What really made our stay was the location, amazing breakfast and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Thank you.

My wife and I loved our stay at this hotel. The property was in a great location, was clean, safe and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast offered every morning was fresh and delicious. Our room was very nice and spacious, with nice seating areas and plenty of storage. Our bathroom however was very small and shower challenging to use. The common space in hotel (Lobby, seating areas) was also small. But overall we loved our 5 night stay at Alecrim ao Chiado and would stay there again for sure.
