The location is fabulous, easy to grt around to attractions, reataurants and shopping. The hotel is quaint, loved our stay.. though we had the garden view.. not much ofba view but ok.. we weren't there tonsit inbour hotel room .

Not so great as reviewed
The shower didn’t drain the water, there was an awful smell from the toilette, the room was really small, the breakfast was initially included as per the information I received, then it was not, so I had to pay the full amount for very few vegan choices. The staff tried to fix when I collect the luggage, they was kind at the check in and at the collection of the baggage, not so comprensive in the middle. I choose this hotel for the reviews, honestly I was not satisfied. I won’t visit again.

The staff was fantastic!! They honestly couldn’t have been more friendly or responsive. Upon arrival, the gave us a bottle of wine and wine glasses. One day they surprised us with complimentary pastries. They filled our water bottles when we were heading out for the day. The cleaning staff would stop by in the evening before they left to ask if we needed anything. We couldn’t have been happier with them. The location was very good. We were near the river and within easy walking distance of Rossio Plaza. This hotel is about a block from the busier areas, so it was less busy and more quiet in the evening. We were able to walk to several popular tourist sites. We had dozens of restaurants to choose from near the hotel as well as shopping. The room was very clean and updated. Our room was a bit on the smaller side, but we didn’t stay in our room much so it didn’t bother us a bit. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were modern very clean. Again, the bathroom was smaller but it didn’t inconvenience us at all. It was pleasant to come back to after a day of sight seeing. Any time we plan on coming back to Lisbon, we will try and book at this hotel first. We loved our experience.

This property was superb. The staff was wonderful. The personal attention made you feel very special. We received a welcome gift of the most delicious cupcakes as well they recognized our wedding anniversary. The boutique feel of the hotel made our stay all the better. The location was great to access the restaurants, shops, and historical landmarks. I highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely fantastic property walking distance to the shops and stores of Lisbon however it is tucked away and very quiet. Lovely restaurant and bar. 24 hour concierge who gave us excellent recommendations daily. Please use the hotel concierge for tours and also the airport transfers. The airport was hectic and I appreciated our driver Miguel that the hotel arranged. Excellent property I would definitely return.

Cute boutique hotel in Alfama. The location was amazing. Just turn left and you are in the most historic district in Lisbon. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The shortcomings were that the hotel was a little small and the room only had a window facing an outdoor shaft which made me claustrophobic.

The hotel is very nice. It’s in a great area of Lisbon. The hotel staff were not very helpful and really didn’t seem to be concerned with any of our questions. We were given a 20% off discount for one meal at the hotel. For some reason that couldn’t be used for the breakfast although no where on the certificate did it state that. It did state that it couldn’t be used for alcoholic beverages which seems reasonable. Needless to say we were unable to use the certificate. The hotel is difficult for Uber drivers to get to because of the location. The staff were disinterested in trying to help us understand the issue which was frustrating. In addition we needed to change money (dollars to euros). Initially the front desk staff told us to go to the bank which did not work. Then we were told to go to Western Union which also didn’t work. It seems like a hotel that caters to guests from all over the world should be able to help with these basic questions. I would consider staying there again predominantly for the location. I would not recommend staying there if you feel you need any assistance with basic problems you may run into if visiting from a foreign country. Or if you would like recommendations from a concierge service.
