We stayed for three nights. The location is perfect, although the entrance is very subtle. But once you know where it is, you're fine. The staff were a delight - every one was super nice. There was some construction going on in the upper floors, but it didn't disturb us at all. Our room was cozy, but the bed super-comfortable and the shower was fabulous, too. For a short break in central Lisbon, it's perfect.

Basic hostel type accommodation but with own bathr
One night stopover and wanted a location downtown with easy walking distance to restaurants, its more like a hostel feel albeit with your own bathroom, building does not have a lift from the ground floor, they change the bedsheets every 3 days unless you ask.

Nice property, clean and spacious. Staff is great! Friendly and always called me by my name. It’s a small property but I liked that they new their guest by their name. Also, they were helpful with everything from my shower door issue to opening a wine bottle. Plus the location is great! Everything is walkable and close to the transportation.

Excellent location for sight seeing, easy walking to restaurants, waterfront etc. Small rooms in clean and newly renovated building. Streets are clean and safe to walk. Room price seems comparable to area. Excellent air temperature control, keeping your room comfortable.

Location was great. Provided wine and egg tarts on arrival. Filtered water was refillable upon request. Room was small and shower stall was very small without a curtain. There was no elevator. There was no coffee available on site.

Although the property was undergoing renovations, my own room must have been done already as everything was in great shape. A refrigerator would have really made it excellent. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! I book-ended my Portugal trip with stays at Esqina Lodge in Lisbon and I’m so happy to be going back there before heading home.

The staff was amazing! They helped with restaurant recommendations, and things to do and see. They were able to outsource laundry service for us and help with anything we needed. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable. The only downside was the room was very small, we did not have much space to open our luggage and store our things. The location was amazing, just outside the doors there are restaurants, shops, and walkability to the main square. Lisbon surprised us with so many amazing food options and shopping.

Great central location
The guesthouse is very centrally located in the Baixa pedestrian area with many restaurants nearby. The Santa Justa elevator is just a few blocks away. It has character and is very comfortable. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Just down the street is a great breakfast place called The Folks. Only possible drawback is that the elevator only starts on the first floor so you have to carry your bags up one flight of stairs.

Great hotel, lovely staff. The lift only started at floor one and then broke down during our stay, resulting in us carrying our luggage down 6 flights of stairs. Location was brilliant for sightseeing and overall I would recommend this hotel.

Very good location in the middle of town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and found the room pretty quiet. The shower room perhaps could have been better designed as the water sits there for a long time. Otherwise really enjoyed our stay at a good price. Many thanks!
