This place was pretty nice and we were pleasantly surprised. It appeared to be remodeled recently with good quality features. The room was clean and private. We loved the chairs outside the room and enjoyed a few glasses of wine. The only problems we had were some ants in the room, which wasn’t a huge deal to us and a light outside our door that shown through the window. It was pretty bright through the night and it wasn’t something that we could switch off. Considering the price relative to other stays in the area, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back, trying a different room though.

A good choice

Very pleasant one-night stay. Staff was welcoming, room was clean, comfortable, quiet, with a view of the ocean from the balcony. Definitely will stay there again!

Cute and Cozy. Room is spacious and newly renovated. Modern bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The view of the ocean is picturesque. The location is excellent and very close to Mendocino

We looked for a nice place near Mendocino that it’s not crazy expensive. Seagram was great for us. Started with the lovely staff people who were friendly and easy going. Fresh baked cookies at the afternoon. The room wasn’t fancy but was l comfortable with nice balcony with table and chairs. The water pressure was good and hot, breakfast was basic but it all we needed, parking was easy and it’s only 6 minutes away from Mendocino.

Wonderful stay. Friendly check in, bedroom included large bathroom and small sitting area, setting and gardens are beautiful. Breakfast area small but cosy with fireplace and continental style breakfast. Very positive experience.

We had such a comfortable, and relaxing stay at the Seafoam Lodge in Mendocino. The property grounds were immaculate, with beautiful landscaping and a variety of plants that added to the serene atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated with modern touches that made it feel like a perfect blend of style and comfort. One of the highlights was the view of the ocean from our balcony, which added an extra touch of tranquility to the experience. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. Great location with a short drive to town.

We were looking for lodging with two queen beds and a sofa to accommodate a family of four adults in one room. Unless you find an Airbnb in the Mendocino area, most bed and breakfast spots are limited with this arrangement. However, we found Seafoam Lodge meeting our needs and providing a great weekend stay in Little River, a short drive to the town of Mendocino.

Here's a revised version of your review: --- The check-in process could have been better and smoother. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived. Additionally, the front desk attendant had the smell of alcohol on his breath. He swapped our room for another one. The breakfast was disappointing, consisting only of coffee, tea, cold bagels, some pastries, and cold drinks. It could definitely be improved. However, the room itself was nice, and we enjoyed our stay.

All rooms had a balcony. It had a huge grassy space to sit and relax and have a picnic. The area was quiet. Staff was friendly. Parking very easy. Room was clean and had comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was simple but we didn’t even expect any so we really appreciated that. Very reasonably priced compared to other options in the area.
