So to start off we walked into Tune and immediately after we gave our name the staff started muttering under their breath about our room, in front of us. Which didn’t sit right with me. After we said we hadn’t stayed before we were just told our room was on the first floor. We had no directions at all until we bumped into a staff member and she helped us so thank you to her. She was really kind. Once we got in the room it was absolutely disgusting. Food stains on the walls, well I hope it was food, there was black mould on the ceiling of the shower as well as the paint peeling. Dead spiders in the light fixtures and window sill. When I turned the hot water tap on in the morning the “gas detector” went off but didn’t alert anyone but ourselves, we did mention it at the desk but it honestly didn’t matter. I didn’t want to stay and if we hadn’t of had a drink we would have driven home. It was awful. It honestly ruined our night together, I’m really disappointed. I definitely will never stay here again.
The hotel looks nice from the outside but on entering our room, the view out of the window was rusty vents, the room looked grubby and unloved, there was paint chipping away in the shower and the shower head was dirty, the bed was very small and personally I wouldn’t call it a double, the mattress was hard and both myself and my partner woke up with sore backs and both of us didn’t sleep well.
Reception staff were friendly but hotel room was very disappointing. Marks all over the walls with dirty fingerprints indicate poor cleaning standards. Condensation issues meant you couldn’t see out of the window. Not a great overall impression at all - hotel seems to be in need of investment and improvement. Location was great but would not return.
The hotel is in a good central location but my deluxe double room with window was nothing like the example on the website.
The room was tiny and shabby. There was no kettle and not even a glass in the bathroom to drink from.
Had to suffer a cold shower as there was no hot water.
For £105 it was a total rip off.

Good stay
Overall good. Curtains need changing as humidity is visible with a naked eye . Room needs refurbishment as condensation/mould is creeping in. But the Staff were amazing and the room had enough space.
