Attended "Parent-Homecoming Weekend" for the first time at USU, location was super convenient to everything, especially campus. It's located on the main street, so traffic is non-stop and loud, but we had the AC on so it drowned out most of the noise. We were on the first floor, with "elephants" and kids stomping above us, so maybe we will request a top floor next time. Room is spacious, bed and pillows comfortable, and bed linens & towels seemed clean, but carpeting was filthy (turned my slipper-socks black), bathroom floors around the edges were filthy, toilet (especially exterior of toilet bowl area and base) was not sanitized too well either, drips of something on the bathroom doors, and some walls. I realize housekeeping at full occupancy can be tiresome, but it's the details that were missed: overall level of cleanliness was tolerable for such a short stay. We skipped the breakfast so cannot comment on that, but the front desk service was friendly and efficient.

A many months old reservation on Hotels.com did not show up on the property’s computer system, complicating checkin at a sold out hotel. Important next day, we were woke up by hotel staff at 11 PM, wanting to know my name…presumably because they accidentally gave us the room intended for the late arriving guests who were standing outside our room. Never going to stay here again before this yearly event.

Front desk staff were awful! Couldn’t find our reservation blamed it on hotels.com. Called the general manager who miraculously was able to put us in a room. I was talked down to and have never had someone shush me. First time staying her will not make that mistake again!

Property is old and needs to be upgraded. The bed was hard as a rock. The air conditioning stayed on for hours and did not cool the room I will not stay at another best western ever.
