Welcome to the Malbec Cabin #5, part of Hocking Hills Cabins & Resort – Village Cabins. This NEW cabin features an open studio style layout with a cathedral ceiling, full kitchen, sitting area and king bed plus an additional lower level. The sitting area provides a couch that doubles as a pullout couch for additional bedding. Malbec has one full bathroom with a walk-in tile shower on the main level. There is a TV inside the cabin, which guests can use with their own apps and logins. Malbec cabin has wifi for guests to use during their stay. The main level exterior offers a covered deck with a propane gas grill and dining furniture. Malbec provides an additional king bed and full bathroom with a shower/tub combo on the lower level of the cabin. A walkout lower level opens to a concrete patio with a hot tub and private fire pit area. Guest parking is in the front of the cabin. The Malbec cabin is great for a quick getaway or week long adventure to Hocking Hills.

Our property features 14 different lodging options for guests to enjoy on 95 shared acres. The common amenities such as the fishing pond, volleyball and greenspace are open for all guests. Please contact our office for details on additional cabins located on the property. The Village Cabins sit in a cul-de-sac style setting on the property.

Hocking Hills Cabin in the hills

The cabin was beautiful as was the scenery. The hot tub met expectations. The deck was roomy with a great view. Thankfully a lighter was supplied as the ignitor on the grill did not work plus one chair was missing an armrest. Would be nice if the owners could supply a backup role of toilet paper and a box of facial tissue. No place to hang coats. Little amenities go a long way. Kitchen was nice and clean.

Very nice. Would have been nice to have more storage for clothes. Dresser, closet shelves or place to hang coats. No chairs around the fire pit 😕.Very clean had a wonderful time.

Very Nice cabin

We had a great time away. It is very clean and is truly a beautiful cabin. Everything is provided that might be needed. The paved driveways up to all of the cabins is a wonderful touch! We are very pleased and plan to book another stay.

Our stay was amazing! The cabin was very clean and tidy!

The property was amazing and in a great location. The grounds are kept up and everything is neat and clean. The only thing about our particular stay is that we ran out of toilet paper and they didn’t have another in the cabin😬 not great when you are using the restroom…but other than that, it was an awesome stay and I would recommend it!!

Nice weekend vacation

Very clean nice property. Near many of Hocking Hills attractions. Do not have to leave if you don't want as there is swimming in large pond at entrance. Cabins secluded but close to neighbors.

Quite an Clean

We enjoyed that we could let the kids play in one area and we could cuddle up alone in quite with the separation of floors and walls. Most cabins I looked at had just open lofts. Very modern and clean atmosphere. We will be back, it was very affordable.

Beautiful cabin but neighbors are too close

The cabin and property were very clean and modern, but the cabins were right next to each other and you could hear every conversation your neighbors had. Definitely built too close together leaving very little privacy.

Hilltop experience

Fun to be on top looking into the valley. Disappointed road to top rough with abundance of potholes! Cabin comfortable with modern amenities yet closer to neighboring cabins for comfort of privacy.

Perfect for an unplugged getaway!

The cabins were adorable! Great location, close to everything, but also secluded. I thought I’d be annoyed not having WiFi, but honestly it ended up being a blessing only using my phone when necessary! After a day of hiking, the hot tub was just perfect! We would certainly visit again!
