Solo traveler here to give honest review! Pros: great location (tube: 5 mins to Lancaster Gate, 10 to Paddington - connects to Heathrow Express), lots of restaurant options, great breakfast buffet daily, nice lobby/bar area, willing to upgrade and check in early if available (sign up for BW rewards beforehand!). Cons: the construction going on next door starts at 8am, sound travels in this building so bring earplugs and download a good sound app if you plan to sleep in. No outlet in bathroom, housekeeping sometimes replaced your washcloths and toilet paper and sometimes didn't. A/C controlled by front desk. If you want it to circulate fan air, ask them to turn it on.

Fantastic location to Hyde Park and 2 tube stations (Lancaster Gate and Paddington). Close to restaurants and a good coffee shop right inside the gate of Hyde Park. We enjoyed that the area was peaceful to come back to after long days of sightseeing. Front desk staff was hit or miss, some being exceptionally helpful and nice, while others were not. Housekeeping staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in an executive suite. Though not large it was sufficient for the three of us. My only complaint would be the ac was not efficient at all. Fortunately, we were gone in the daytime when it was at its hottest. We were able to open the only window to cool things off at night. Overall, a good stay and would definitely recommend the area.

The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. The hotel was in great location near Hyde Park, which made seeing nearby sights simple to walk to. The breakfast option is highly recommended, as it was a great way to start the day.

Great hotel in a great location. Lancaster Catherine is five mins from the hotel so very convenient. We had a twin room which had two comfy beds and great pillows. The room was super clean. Bathroom hah rituals products. Only issue was the water pressure in the shower which wasn’t the best but we managed. Staff were so friendly and helpful too. Would stay again and recommend.

The metro is nearby, their breakfast is fabulous (smoked salmon, cheese, croissants, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice and more), staff is friendly. Our room was clean and quiet.

The hotel is perfect location for Hyde Park and Paddington. The hotel is friendly, rooms ok size and reasonable prices. The hotel always seems to be warm, we stayed previously as the breakfast area was extremely hot so we didn’t venture this time. Rooms have AC but again we’re still warm.

Great Location
Great location for our concerts in Hyde Park. Nice room, we knew it was going to be small but it had everything we needed. Pleasant staff. All round good choice for the events we were going to. Would recommend and re-visit.

Great location, but small room and neighbor noises
I liked the location and it's a neat building but it's rather convoluted to get to your room. The bathroom was quite small and I had to step over a big block to get in and out. Big tripping hazard. As others have stated, the walls and floors are thin and you hear every creak of the floor above you. I also heard my neighbor's movements. And I am sure they heard me. There was also a bit of noise from the neighboring pub. Running the AC helped drown out some of the noises.

Two night uncomfortable stay.
The room we had was so small the double bed was pushed into a corner against the wall, hence you could not get out of bed unless your partner moved first. Very disrupted nights sleep. When we asked to move room, reception said they had no other rooms. Evertime I asked to speak to a manager.he was either in a meeting or not available.

Overlooking a wall so no view whatsoever and made room incredibly dark (room 201). Terrible air conditioning unit outside which was loud all night. Room right next to the lift so could hear it going up and down all night and people talking. Asked within 30 mins of check in to be moved and was told only other room was a smaller room underground. No attempt to make changes. Very disappointing stay. Room inside was pleasant and had everything we needed. Just a shame about its location considering we booked 6 months before our stay and wasn’t cheap.
